Saw Connor a few times in HS, he would have been a very good D3 player along the lines of Andy Phillips.  Being the son of an MSU athletics head coach, MSU was his dream, simply could not say no to Izzo.   I'm not sure Hope was his #1, GVSU was right there as well.

Hargraves is a step backwards from KVS from a coaching standpoint. The Calvin atheletic department and administration are going to have to step up their support.  The rest of the league has passed them by.  There is a lot of work to do.  Calvin must get a proven college coach.  Get Sall! Get Vander Wal! Show Calvin students and supporters that you're serious.  I don't think bringing in someone on the cheap is going to work.

I would not be disappointed if Hargraves is the next Calvin coach. I think he's done a good job with the Alma program and think he could do a good job with more consistent talent label at Calvin.
