Those aren't ringing endorsements for Hope. LOL

Fantasy-wise, I did take a flier on Hope in next year's tournament league, a 13th round pick (#110 overall) out of 14 rounds and Granger's 20 and 8 in the player draft in the 19th round (167th) out of 20 rounds.  Hardly putting too much stock that Hope makes next year's NCAAs, but if they do...

Hope will be interesting next season. A lot will depend on the development of Thomas and Dykhouse. If they develop their games this off-season, and Hope's offense gets more in sync, I can see potential for a great inside out game with those two and Preston.

Then again, if that offense doesn't get in sync? Yikes.

There just seems to be too much of a systematic problem with Hope's offense with Granger at the 4 that won't change with another year of experience.  I'll hold out hope, but I'm skeptical.  Maybe  Halbert can surprise and grab the 4 spot as a freshman and let Granger take the 5...

I am going to be tracking schedules as they get released across the area this year to piece things together until they are officially announced.

This is what I have MIAA wise thus far, according to released schedules on team websites (plus the always occurring GRSHOF tournament):

Alma
11/28 at UW-Stout

Calvin
11/14 vs UW-Stout
11/27 GRSHOF vs Aquinas/Cornerstone
11/28 GRSHOF vs Aquinas/Cornerstone
12/9 at Wheaton

Hope
11/27 GRSHOF vs Aquinas/Cornerstone
11/28 GRSHOF vs Aquinas/Cornerstone

Olivet
12/5 vs Wheaton

Trine
11/15 vs UW-Stout

I will continue to check these every few days and provide updates. Only three teams in geographic region have released complete schedule so far (Lake Forest, UW-Stout, Wheaton).

I believe Calvin will be attending Wooster's holiday tournament along with Wooster, Muskingum, and La Roche.

Adrian and Trine will be making their return trip to Mount Union the weekend of Nov. 17-18, not sure the order of days but I believe both will play Mount Union/Muskingum that weekend.

Any talks on Calvin participating in another GLI or perhaps hosting one?

You're right, I got my dates messed up. Weekend of Nov. 21 is correct.

I believe Hope is hosting the Hope, Calvin, Aquinas, Cornerstone thing this year.

I think Hope will have done well to arrive at that date with more than 0 wins and 4 losses.  ;) :-X
