Kind of a fun fact here as Gabe plays high school ball with the son of Peja Stojaković, who is currently a sophomore.

Fairly underwhelming class from Hope so far.  Not completely surprising given the number of varsity players from their class last year, but still would have liked to see a few more.

Here are a couple more Hope commits who will probably play JV next year:

6'1 G Tyler Stezowski from Hamilton
6'0 G Jaleel Williams from Portage Northern

Wow, I would have thought Peja would have his diploma by now.

I think it's just awkward because Peja probably doesn't have a HS diploma - you know, what with having to flee his country during a brutal civil war and starting to play pro basketball at 15 and all.

Kind of his sixth year, isn't it? I believe he had a medical redshirt after playing in the first three games in 2016-17, then played full seasons the next four. Unless I'm mistaken, it appears he is taking advantage of the free year of eligibility available to anyone for any reason because of COVID.
