Calvin's 2022-23 schedule is up:
https://calvinknights.com/sports/mbkb/2022-23/schedule
Three WIAC foes in November, with a rematch on Dec. 30 with D3 runner-up Elmhurst. Wheaton is back on the schedule, too.

Definitely good enough for Pool C, presuming they get enough wins.

I believe Rockford and UWSP are playing at Hope on that same weekend on opposite days.

An impressive schedule. And as predicted here some time ago, no Cornerstone/Aquinas.

I'm wondering if they're still looking to fill in a game and kick Grace Bible to an exhibition. I don't love that being a real game.

No staying up late Thanksgiving night watching football. Early start for that Rockford game on Friday, November 25. LOL  :) ;D :o ::) :P

Per Twitter, ( https://twitter.com/mambrose_24/status/1531332858937229312?s=21  ) add 6'2" 180lbs 2G transfer Matthew Ambrose (U. of Indianapolis/Stevenson (IL) HS) to the 2022 recruiting class for Calvin. After signing early w/ D2 UIndy, his head coach left for another GLVC program (USI) prior to his arrival. As a result, he never really entered the rotation for the Greyhounds during his two seasons - playing 9 games as a FR. (2020-21) and 1 game as a SO. (2021-22).

The former Stevenson (IL) HS Patriot had a stellar prep career earning numerous honors including IHSA Class 4A Third-Team All-State, All-Area, All-Conference, and named among the City/Suburban Hoops Report Top 50 players in Illinois (2019-20). He played for his father Pat Ambrose, former Augustana College (IL) standout, who is considered among the best coaches in Illinois and who coached current NBA Mavericks PG Jalen Brunson.

Matthew is an exceptionally smart and deceptively quick/athletic "gym rat" of a shooting guard who is equally adept at creating for others and scoring the basketball. He may not match the size and athleticism of this past seasons' Calvin 2G/SF's, but he will fit in very nicely with the Knights style of play moving forward. Having entered the transfer portal in late March, he will be eligible to play right away and, potentially, will have 3yrs remaining. This could be a HUGE addition to the program. Knights fan are going to really enjoy watching Matthew play moving forward.

So outside of Calvin v Hope, are tickets pretty accessible to their games? That Thanksgiving weekend trip to see Stevens Point get smoked by Hope and Calvin has peeked my interest.

Yes. You should have your choice of several thousand available seats at Calvin and at least several hundred at Hope.

Tickets will certainly be available at the door.  The most recent game that came close to a sellout outside of a rivalary game that I know of (at Hope) was in 2018, late in the conference season with the title on the line against Albion (attendance was 3001).  Hope averages under 2000 for pre-conference games, Calvin considerably less than that.

Thanks. I'm a big talker, so we'll see if I make it over there. I was excited when the Final Four was moved to Fort Wayne and I have yet to make it there.  ::) (Not completely my fault!)

A late adjustment to the Calvin schedule has the Knights traveling to Winter Park, FL, for a holiday tourney with host Rollins College along with the College of Wooster and Emerson College (Boston): https://calvinknights.com/sports/mbkb/2022-23/schedule
The shift from a Southern California tournament was necessitated when one of the invited schools pulled out. The match-up with the Fighting Scots of Wooster gives Calvin another in-region game against a traditionally strong program.

A D2 hosting three D3s makes for an interesting event

The participants also includes Augsburg. Maybe Rollins College is just hosting and not even playing?
