As of about an hour ago, Hope still had 23 tickets and nobody was in line.  Not sure how much happened since then, but might be worth checking out if you still want to go.

Thanks thealmascots, but I contacted them earlier and was told they could only issue to tickets to me personally.  I guess there is no way to pay for them over the phone and pick them up at Aurora.  I'm sitting here in the suburbs of Chicago, so I guess that isn't going to work.  Thanks for the info though.
I'd be glad to pick them up for you and deliver them at the door.

Looking out my window in the near-west suburbs of Chicago and it's pretty windy, but not snowing - roads should be fine, at least once you get around the lake.  See y'all in a few hours.

This from the MI State Police website:

Special Notice:  The entire area is receiving intermittent snowfall with high winds, causing some visibility problems and scattered slippery areas.

They also list I-196 from Holland to Benton Harbor as "Wet" and "Blowing Snow".

It's been said before, but...be extra careful, and leave early.  I'd like to see everyone get to Aurora safely (and yes, that includes those people rooting for that Grand Rapids school, too).   :)

God bless, safe travels, see ya there!!

GO HOPE!!!

Welcome to the dark side, Luke...

Did you ever wonder about the true depths of darkness of the Calvin-Hope rivalry?

Um, wow, speechless...

So Coop passed up on a lucrative acting career to instead serve a small private midwestern college? This is extremely off topic, but the production value of that couldn't help but remind me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVENWl8uBeg

:D  Only problem is, now I have "hot, hot, hot, we're all so hot," etc etc going through my head.

I actually don't know if the video is as entertaining as the scathing review: http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday.com/?p=1610

Everyone have a wonderful evening and safe trip to Aurora. GO HOPE and as hard as it is to say Go Calvin (for one night).

It may also be a bad idea to possibly re-visit it, but did anyone also notice that one of the videos related to the Griffin video on YouTube showed the kid/flag incident from the game Pt. 3?

Don't post it.  I posted it and had it deleted by a poster here and got sent a nasty message of being accused of trying to "stir up trouble."

it is soooo nice to finally have a Hope NCAA game where it is OUR PLAYER that has the game of his life....see 2003 hosted game in Dow Center against......?

5 of 7 is a fantastic game.  It will be hard to maintain that %.
Yes, definitely a career game.

It is starting to look like the MIAA will have atleast one team in the second round.   Great game Hope.  Does this mean the MIAA wasn't quite as bad as we thught it was all year? :)

Conference reputations are pretty much fixed in December. If some teams in a conference take longer to get their act together, the conference still has a bad external record.

I don't think we really have very much information about the relative strength of some conferences until a few NCAA tourney games have been played.

Way to hold up the MIAA's reputation with a 76-54 victory.

Missed slam dunk.  Oh well this should be a fun game right.  76-54 Hope wins

DK: Guess you are probaby right.   I just thought Chicago would present more of a problem for Hope.  However, when one player has a career night like Cramer it is always hard to beat them.
