Mr Y:  It will be interesting to see how Carthage does against teams that have seen "little D" a time or two before.

I suspect that Carthage will finish no higher than 6th in the CCIW.  IWU has a guy (Sean Dwyer) who can't crack the starting line-up at guard, but held Kent Raymond to his lowest totals last year.  Don't recall how he did against Steve, but suspect he will be used heavily.  Can't speak for other teams, but either they let Steve get his and shut down the rest of the team, or found a way - Carthage is NOT likely to make the top half of the league

He's deadly against schools that haven't seen him, but it is still a team game..

Hope and Calvin have both played against Djurickovic before.

I seem to remember similar comments about Carthage last season and at the halfway point they were leading the CCIW.

and Djurickovic scored 28 and 25 vs the Titans last season.

Raymond had 17, 17 and 34 vs the Titans.  Hope also held Raymond to 18 and 23.

....these and many other fun facts can be found by using the web.

True, but you underestimate the extent of my laziness! :D

And while Raymond went 17, 17, and 34, Wheaton went 0-3! ;D

Not unexpectedly, Wheaton played a tough second half and downed Calvin by a dozen points.
Eager to hear some first-hand accounts.
On the webcast, it looked like Caleb was as out of sync as I've ever seen.

Calvin loses by 12, 68-56 after leading 35-32 at halftime.  Veldhouse had 4 points and 5 turnovers.  Calvin 6-9 from the line, Wheaton 23-27.  Looks like that may have been the difference.

Man... I loved watching the live video. WHY can't Hope do this???

PLEASE Hope College... Just home games at the very least... Please!

Panner did a good job on Caleb, but his numbers suffered as well. He led his league last year in 3's and was only 1-5 tonight.
