Hope game is about to start guys.  Get ready to give up the board for awhile.  By the way, saw the new VanNoord Arena recently.  Very impressive and definitely the very best basketball venue in all of D3!  A real showpiece.  The Master's plan worked out well. ;)

Anybody else having trouble with the WHTC broadcast?

otherwise Dustin might be a mid-season transfer.

well technically, he was.    Shhhhhhhh!    .........and yes I'm aware he didn't play, and he played football at Hope.

Mr. Ypsi

sac,

spellcheck was a great gift for term paper graders.  Fewer errors, but the ones that remained would not be gibberish, they'd be real words (just - often hilariously - the wrong words).

Among my favorites:  "women and their male contraband..." - I suspect she meant 'counterparts', but couldn't be certain.  I gave a margin note that my lifetime goal was to be Elle McPherson's contraband.

"...juvenile records are atomically expunged."  Obviously intended to write 'automatically expunged'; my response: "Good God, that's extreme!  Have they never heard of paper shredders?"

Thanks for the negative k Wiz.  Just remember 16-11 last year.  If you read all my posts, I have never said that KVS should go.  What I have said is KVS needs to "refresh" his thinking from time to time.  If you haven't been able to determine what KVS was going to do in advance for far too long now you have been listening to different games than I have.

I can't make the home opener next week, so please tell me, what will KVS do?

The quality of the post is far more important than the quantity.

Well the only thing I can say with any degree of accuracy at this point is KVS will do what KVS will do.  GOK's ???
That being said if you had asked me; "what should KVS do?" my answer would have been much more definitive.l

42 points in 12 minutes?  On pace for 140?  Good start for Hope.

An aphorism to live by.
But is it really realistic?  ;D

KVS, in his postgame interview, said some really positive and encouraging things about Veltema, Veldhouse, Smith & Katt.  But, I was able to determine he was going to say that way in advance of the interview.  Don't know why I even bothered to listen.

Hope up by 23 with 4 minutes left.

Here's another one I didn't see coming ahead of time.  This post from Alan Babbitt at the Holland Sentinel.

My point exactly.  They finally did what they (the above named players) are (and have always been) capable of doing.  Thanks to a coach who finally figured it out. :D  I also listened, and KVS pointed out it was his idea to have Caleb at the 2, and he also admitted that "didn't work as well as he"...................................................... ;D

Halftime

Hope 63 Judson 43

Forget Flying how about Sizzling Dutchmen.  Probably the best story of this half was Jesse Reimink held to 6 points and the rest the fellas picked it up.  First time this year I can recall Reimink not being the halftime leading scorer

Hope shot  23-35 for 65.7%

Osburn 14, Bowser 12 , Bunn  9 leading the way

63 is alot of points for one half, no matter the opponent.
