Reimink only 5 shots in 25 minutes of play.  Platteville not giving him much room.
Hope being out rebounded 22-13
It seems like Plattevile has scored a lot of baskets in the paint.

Platteville 27-40 (6-9 from 3)
They have had a lot of layups.

So this UW team looks good... And Pat has Wheaton going all the way. Getting beat by this team, I'd sure like to see them go a little further than getting beat tomorrow. Will it be a good game, or do the prognosticators have it all wrong?

I think tonight was an indication of the level of play in the MIAA this year. Platteville very methodically took apart Hope.  They executed their offense for easy baskets. Platteville took away a lot of things on defense. The MIAA just didn't prepare any team to play at the level of Platteville.

Very dominating performance by Platteville.  Hope looked a bit lost at times tonight and the lack of size really was evident tonight.  It's a great experience for the young guys and playing in an NCAA game as your last college game is something the seniors will never forget.  Congrats on a great season!  Good luck to Platteville going forward in the tournament.

Congrats Hope on making the tourney, sorry your trip was so short.

Now I guess we can focus on next year.  Is there any source of info regarding recruiting classes/incoming freshman/transfers?  If not, probably this board is the best source of info and I'd love to hear from some of you who are in the know.  Thanks

I haven't heard any definite recruits coming in for Hope other than they have about 60 kids they've been looking at and are really concentrating on bringing in some bigs.  Obviously, Korey Van Dussen is the biggest name they've been after and if he commits, they would be very entertaining to watch next year.  They still need to come up with a Marcus Vonderheide type guy that has some size but can still move and dominate on the block.

You can do very well in the MIAA with the type of players Hope has been bringing in but to go deep in the tournament you've got to have an inside/out presence with a solid defender able to shut down the opponents best player.  Stay tuned as things develop.
