Thanks for the info, Goodknight.

...So I was at Van Noord arena tonight for a Calvin/Hope volleyball game....does Calvin ever plan on putting "total fouls" up on their scoreboard somehow.  Just wondering....

I thought I was at a game last year where they showed total fouls on the scoreboard.  I don't think the scoreboard specifically said "Total Fouls", but it seemed like it was shown.  I'm probably not remembering correctly, since my wife says I can't even remember what happened last week.

I think there was a game that team fouls were displayed in the Timeouts Left space, but for most of the year player points/fouls/team fouls were displayed on the video board.

GK:  B. Schuster actually disappeared from the scene after playing 70 minutes in 11 games in the 07-08 season.  The lay off since early Jan. of 08 would impact most people's game.  Perhaps the pleasure KVS has is imagining how other coaches will deal with him and Mantel on the floor at the same time along with Rodts or Veltema, and a pg to feed them the ball inside.

If other coaches have to worry about Schuster inside, he must have changed his game.  I seem to remember him being much more of a perimiter guy, despite his size.

FDF's memory is keen, indeed.  Schuster is a reed-thin 6-10 and has never been a banger down low.  His game is out around the 3-point line, although with his long arms he can tip in a few missed shots.

Looks pretty nice compared to the graphic package at the DeVos Fieldhouse:

And yes, my follow up was as lame as the initial dig.

The Lowell "Pink" Arrows football game is the coolest breast cancer awareness event that I am aware of. Unfortunately, I get skeptical when causes become chic because the cause seems to become secondary. That being said, I don't see any problem with anyone willing to show their support, as long as the reasons are genuine.

Actually that was a pretty awesome night (last Friday).  Hope v Albion in volleyball, about 1000 people there, and a lot of money raised for cancer.

I think that is great, I didn't mean to insinuate that the Hope event was anything but sincere so I apologize if it came across that way.

Nice to see an event come together for a cause and also get a bigger crowd out for a game that would otherwise have a small crowd.

Wow, sorry, I really missed that one!
I guess the story of the Ford Motor Company headquarters bathed in pink lighting was more fresh in my mind.

I think we're safe as long as Dutch doesn't have reality TV aspirations. I hear he is remaining silent on the issue.
