An hour before tip-off and the Calvin student section is nearly full. Quite a showing. About 50 intrepid DewCrewers.

Hope on break till next Tuesday... Is that unusually late?

Venema is suited up and looks as if he is moving pretty well. Shockingly, there are a lot of blond-haired people in the arena.

Someone needs to adjust the bass on this lousy sound system.

live web stream is up and running and seems to be quite impressive.  Kudos to Calvin for making it available to out-towners!

it'll be interesting if the rest of the games that are streamed will be this good or if it is the result of WGVU's production for TV just being fed to the net.  Hopefully all the games are done this well.

60% are blonde, 38% are white/gray, 2% are lost

Well, I didn't want to be negative before the game, but I hoped we might get out of this game with less than a 10 point loss! Doesn't look that way. I'm sure no one expected 12-3's for Calvin... Ouch! Here's hoping that the game is a bit tighter in Holland. Nice Game Calvin... GO HOPE!
