uh oh the fairies are out again.

It was me. Following up the dusting spray with the feather duster was weak.

I'm sorry if I  cause you strife when you go to update your daily karma tracking spreadsheet.

Not as weak as ending every bit of ribbing back and forth with the same old banner reply.    :P

Too true.........but I did the like the empty trophy case photo, both subtle and effective.

Wednesday's nights action

Kalamazoo at Adrian.............Adrian's other two losses are to Hope and Calvin, in retrospect the loss at Kzoo earlier made no sense.

Hope at Alma............not eating hats here, Hope only beat Alma by 3 away last season, its a tweener game for the Dutchmen.

Calvin at Olivet...........Calvin won the first meeting by 4, a matchup of 3 of the leagues best players.

Trine at Albion.......Brits have lost 4 in a row in the conference, first time since 2002.  The bleeding must stop here.

Pretty sure that 2 of the 3 that you're referring to are obvious but just curious who the 3rd player is when mentioning "3 of the leagues best players".  I'm not sure I could pick a clear-cut top 3 players out of those 2 teams players.

I assumed that was Matt Veltema. Not that I think he is a top 3 player in the league but he is a player that could be mentioned in a general discussion about the top players (no defined number) in the league.

And sac had mentioned him on his All-MIAA first-team.

You're probably right.  Wondered who Sac was specifically reffering to as looking at the stats there isn't much difference between Rodts and Veltema and then tossing in Snikkers play of late as well.  Veltema has Rodts in scoring, 3pt. % and slight advantage in TO's while Rodts has advantage in overall fg. %, rebounds and steals with the categories of FT. % and assists essentially a dead-heat.

That's the only reason I asked for further explanation from Sac because as for Calvin, after Mantel there is a pretty tight bunch of 2-3 players on pretty even ground.

Yes, Matt Veltema

Up until you confirmed this, I was wondering why Nathan Jennings and Andre Evans shouldn't be included in this discussion.  That is, except for the obvious reason.   ;)

Why does this bother you so much?

The unoriginality, the inability to be creative, the absence of good fun, just to name a few reasons. Its not like Hope people don't know that Calvin has won a national championship. It would just be fun at times to have a good back and forth banter that stimulates good cheers and chants without it ending the same way every time. Right now the Hope section is way more creative and original, while the Calvin section just sits back and rocks the same quote every time. Its just not fun (probably why Calvin students didn't really show up at the Devos).
Its a great day to be a Dutchman!
