Agreed -- with free video streaming through ustream.tv we get what we pay for as producers of the broadcast, but it was what we could afford and it's certainly better than nothing.

As long as the cameraman isn't also trying to do color and update D3hoops.com, then it will work better.

Thanks for putting up with our video infancy. We did eight games today but that puts us at about 14 video productions ever.

There's something refreshing about someone who posts with such wanton disregard for his own karma. I'm actually kind of impressed.

Pat: thanks for all the work you do in maintaining this board and in bringing us the game last night. At one point I said to myself "Jeez, does Pat have a job?" But I know you do, and I know your commitment to D3 ball takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice, I'm guessing a lot more than any of us imagine. I was glad to have the video feed last night, and to chat with fellow posters during the game.

Let me add my congratulations and thanks to the Seniors on the basketball team. They have sacrificed countless hours and in some ways their bodies, and have brought us great pleasure in doing so. An added thanks to the Seniors who have finished their careers on the Dew Crew. Their endless enthusiasm and creativity have made the games so much more enjoyable than they would have otherwise been.

Tough, tough game last night.  I know that everyone of us who was there (players, coaches, and fans) left with a bad taste in their mouth.  Hope played well for portions of the game, but seemed to just disappear defensively at other times.  It's tough to lose a game that you lost because you simply didn't execute down the stretch and feel like you gave one away.

Looking at the stats, the FT difference really stands out (SNC shot 30 to Hope's 10), which reminded me of this quote from GVW in the Sentinel on Thursday

"But we've got to get to the free-throw line. If we do that, that means we're being aggressive on offense."


Will post more later - probably tomorrow - gotta hit the road and get back to Holland for the women's game tonight
