Let's cap off a great "Blue" weekend with a victory from the guys in the shade called "Honolulu"!
Two things: The new "process" rule stinks and why wasn't there a camera from the end zone that might have shown the Chicago runner stepped out on his looooonng touchdown run! HMMMMM ???

Even when you break down the wording of the actual rule it still leaves room for interpretation. Why is it so hard to define a catch?

I asked the same question about the lack of a direct sideline camera.  I don't know if he stepped out, but in the era of instant replay good grief why isn't there one?

......It never ceases to amaze me how many different ways the Lions have found to lose ball games over the years.  At least this one didn't feel like their own doing.

Maybe the Lions could hire Dean Kreps to help turn things around.

Has anyone out there heard that a Hope returning starter may be academically ineligible?

I don't want to put a name out there, but I heard last night from a pretty big Hope fan that it is true.

I sure HOPE not!

Just wondered if anyone else had heard anything........hint, hoopdreams?

As much as I dislike Hope, I feel bad, Alma football had that happen to our Starting QB this year....it's a tough break for anyone.

Sflz--Although it may be true, be cautious taking an unconfirmed rumor about an unnamed player from a poster with -10 karma.  That may be an indication he says things just to be incindiary.

section7, I have not heard anything about a "starter" being shelved.  To my knowledge, Snuggs, David, Will, and Peter are all outstanding students. With Bowser and Bunn primed to graduate, they are doubtful to be in trouble.  I have heard about a role player being in significant trouble and I know there are concerns about another's motivation (another hint but no names:same high school) but nothing official.

I'm sure their are people much closer to the situation who know what's up.  I no longer want to be accused of making things up or speculating but I will make a call and find out by noon!  I'll send you a message when I know "for sure"

LOL!

But then the lions would have even less players cause he would call them out in the media so he doesnt get the blame

section7 and others interested, I spoke with 2 people affiliated with Hope hoops yesterday (nameless) and received 2 differing reports, one from a parent of a current player and another from an individual who can be seen in many team photos in the trophy case.

One party said that ..... is back on campus and telling people that is indeed eligible and planning on playing, and the other, whom I personally would consider more reputable and reliable said that it would be very unlikely for...... to be eligible.  Sounds like they are trying to work the system, I mean, work something out.

If......is playing, the question is "why didn't he play at all with the team over the summer?" based on every report I heard throughout, he was a ghost.

That's all I know...

no rumors Hope1, if you're on campus, or part of the program, you know exactly who I'm referring to.  Based on your grammar skills, it could possibly be you!
