Its refpocalypse here in Holland... A bloodbath of a game, with a horrible showing from the stripes!
Its a great day to be a Dutchman!

Ian Jackson of Trine was a perfect 6-6 from the field with a few minutes left before finally missing  a shot.  Trine up 32-20 over Calvin with a couple minutes left in the half.

Edit: Calvin goes on a 9-0 run to end the half, though.  32-29 Trine.

I know you've locked the MIAA, but a Hope win tonight is what Calvin needs for a respectable regular season finish.

Good halftime comeback by Calvin down in Angola.  Just need to pull it together (and keep it together) in the second half...which isn't easy for Calvin

Stripes are that bad, huh?  What's the Hope/Albion foul count at halftime?

Fouls:
Albion 16
Hope 12

Turnovers:
Albion 13
Hope 11

Sounds like an ugly one.

My guess is this consecutive sequence probably led to Hopester's post.

12:21   Hopem   FOUL by Nate Snuggerud
12:08   Hopem   FOUL by Ty Tanis
11:57   Hopem   FOUL by Logan Neil
11:55   Hopem   FOUL by Chris Ray

Hope picked up 3 more fouls before the 10 min mark........7 fouls in less than 2 1/2 minutes.

Most of the fouls have been called in the last 12 minutes of the half for both teams.  Even had a double technical on both teams, another Overway, Hutton clash.

Jody May admitted after the first matchup Hope was the tougher team, I'm sure Albion came out to prove a point tonight and this game probably resembles Ice Hockey more than basketball.

Rodts seems to be the only one having a decent shooting night so far for Calvin.

sac

This is probably the most important game of the night for tournament seeding and its a really good one.
