Announcer for the Calvin at Trine game says Calvin is 5th in the nation in FT%  :o

Looks like we're going to have a potential few nail-biters in the MIAA tonight.

The announcer really doesn't like Tom Snikkers

I'm not listening, but maybe it has nothing to do with Tom.  Maybe the announcer just doesn't like players who go 3-13 with 8 turnovers.

I think he's the most impressive announcer in the league, by far.  He actually said some favorable things about Snikkers but just commented that Tom complained about all his fouls.

....Says that Tom has complained after "almost every call on him tonight"

This game was closer than it should have been.  Calvin had a nice comfortable 8 point lead with a few minutes to go and played the "stall" (weave around the 3 point line) game the last few minutes and it almost backfired.    Trine had a break away lay-up with 12 seconds left that would have cut it to a 1 point game, but the Trine player missed.

Nice comeback, though, after a rough 1st half.

Final:

Calvin 71
Trine  67

Wow! If only Albion was closer to Adrian.  They could recruit the thugs instead of simply training them.

Ouch!   :o :o ;D

Calvin overcomes poor shooting early in the game by equaling Trine's rebounding effort in the Calvin offensive end.

I didn't mind him and he could have just been telling the truth and how he sees it.
