Unreal finish in Holland you probably had to see to believe.

I have a high speed internet connection, seems like I should have been able to see it...

He thought I meant that Calvin couldn't catch Hope for #1, but what I meant was that no one would be able to catch Calvin for #2. To be clear, I should have said an Albion loss tonight clinches the #2 for Calvin.

I see.  Good luck against Hope next Wednesday, sflzman

Loser gets a less than desirable MIAA tournament opener

KS, before I forget, nice prediction with predicting Calvin by 5 tonight.  Only 1 point off.

Albion 78 Hope 76 OT

final pending I guess

Now final,  75% FT shooting team goes 2-6 in the final 30 seconds and loses the game.

Free throw woes aside, the play-by-play makes it look like this game should have gone to a second OT at a minimum. With the game tied, why is Krombeen shooting with enough time for Kazen to fastbreak the other way for the winner?

I don't think the time stamp is always accurate on the livestats.

It would take a pretty big discrepancy for that play to make sense

Not the kind of pressure wanted going into this game.  But will make for one heck of a crowd at historic Kresge gymnasium.  Flash back to 2004-2005 season....

#28752
Standings  +1 for road win/-1 for home loss

Hope    11-2
Calvin   8-5
Albion   8-5
Olivet   7-6
Adrian  6-7
Kzoo    6-7
Trine    4-9
Alma    2-11

Saturday, February 19
Calvin at Albion, 3 p.m.
Trine at Adrian, 3 p.m.
Alma at Olivet, 3 p.m.
Hope at Kalamazoo, 3 p.m.

Hope is still the 2011 MIAA Champion

Calvin @ Albion for 2nd place Saturday

Albion holds the tie-breaker over Olivet by beating Hope, they can do no worse than #3 seed.  Calvin holds the same tie-breaker over Olivet.

Olivet can wrap up #4 by beating Alma, and would hold the tie-breaker over Adrian by beating the Bulldogs twice.

Kzoo can move as high as #4 with a win over Hope, that win would give them a tie-breaker over Olivet or Olivet/Adrian.

Adrian currently holds the tie-breaker with Kzoo by beating Calvin twice, A Kzoo win over Hope would flip the tie-breaker advantage to Kzoo.

One heck of a night in the MIAA!!!

I doubt you'll get more than 500,  Albion's highest attendance this year was 680 vs Hope.
