Anybody else irritated with the number of times the officials have to go over and check the clock during the last minute of play?

Yet another reason to be a fan of the D3 game.

Considering the media response to several well documented ref. mistakes during this past season it is to be expected.  My guess is this is trend will  get more intrusive as time goes by. :)

Congratulations to Carrie Snikkers who was named All-American for the third consecutive year, and to Carissa Verkaik who earned honorable mention status.

Michigan becomes first team in NCAA history to win a tournament game w/out making a free throw.  They were 0/1 from the line.  UM outscored Tennesee 58-22 over the last 33 minutes of the game.
My brother said a couple of weeks ago that the best thing to happen to Michigan this year was Manny Harris going pro.  I think he's right.

Classic case of addition by subtraction. Manny was an Amaker recruit and probably played his entire Michigan career for himself. This was the first year that the entire team came to Michigan to play for John Beilein and the difference shows.

...adding Jordan Morgan and Tim Hardaway Jr. didn't hurt either. ;)

Michigan played well, but Tennessee rolled over today like Smokey.  They played like they had never seen a 1-3-1 zone, which they may not have, I don't know.

Didn't mean to diminish the contributions of the guys still on the squad. Jordan Morgan is exhibit A for why fans should have confidence in this coaching squad. Losing DeShawn Sims was the biggest hole to fill and Moran deserves a ton of credit for closing the gap that was left behind. Maybe they got a little lucky with Hardaway Jr but it doesn't really matter, they got him.

This is really off topic, but......

Alma lost in baseball today 4-3 in 12 innings to the University of Michigan.....

Interesting....I'm not sure what kind of team Michigan fielded but they were supposed to be out in Palo Alto, CA to play Stanford in a 3 game series this weekend starting today, but cancelled due to the high probability of rain.

Here's the UofM perspective on the game, Michigan is now 4-13.  This was their first ever meeting with Alma.

I like Marquette's uniforms, especially the"AL" on the chest honoring my late "father."

You should be able to link here: http://www.ncaa.com/liveschedule

I don't think the games are being televised.

That link will also give you the all star game McClary is playing in.
