Not that I really care about the whole karma thing, but do people just give or take karma points based on how they feel about your particular post?  I noticed that I lost a couple of karma points.  Is the point of this board to state one's opinions for discussion based on things he or she has seen, or to state one's opinions and then agree with a person as soon as they disagree with your original post?  Isn't this a DISCUSSION board?

Home game for Ferris.  Respectable showing for Alma.

The best thing to do with the karma is ignore it. Hope fans will neg you if you say anything 'bad' about them or their players.

The best only thing to do with the karma is ignore it.

As someone that only saw Don Overbeek as a "finished" product, this terrifies me. Fortunately, Calvin has someone like Tyler Kruis this time around.

I'd take what Calvin had as a finished product over Overbeek any day.

Tonight's game:

Bluffton at Kalamazoo  --  Bluffton is 5-1, wins over Webster in OT, Rust in 3OT, something called Ohio Mid-Western, Hiram and Mt. St. Joseph.  Not exactly a murderers row but they are winning.   It counts as in-region so a win for the Hornets would help everyone.

These two teams have met each of the last 4 years, series tied at 2 apiece.  Bluffton won by 3 last year, three of the four meetings have been close games.

miaa.org says Kzoo will have video from 40 year old Anderson Athletic Center........that's another MIAA school with video Mr. Hope College President.

Maybe Hope doesn't want to jeopardize game attendance. I know quite a few people who don't attend the Calvin-Hope games because they'd rather watch them on TV; I suspect that as more people figure out how to watch other games online that could happen for them as well.

Congratulations Joe!

I believe Prepolec is the only active 1000 point scorer in the MIAA right now.  I'm not sure if there's an easy way to get a ranking of the rest, but I'm sure Bunn/Krombeen/Snikkers are all near the top of the list for the next grouping of players that have a chance to get to the 1k mark.

I have Snikkers at 792.
Krombeen looks to be at 845.
Bunn looks to be at 899 at Hope plus what looks like 19 at Oakland for a grand total of 918.
