Any thoughts on the new mlive.com?  I find it very disappointing. I'm not sure how they actually made the look and feel of that website worse.  It's unfortunate as it is the only site (I won't read Lee, et. al.) that has coverage of small college Michigan sports.

It looks like it was created in 1997.

I know a site that was created in 1997. :)

One has made an effort to evolve, and improve its online look and software.  One just changed their background color to yellow after months of telling everyone to look for the "big change".   :)

It looks like reading about the Friday night HS basketball games is a thing of the past. :-[. I found very few local stories on mlive or the e-replica edition.  No box scores either. If I'm not looking in the right place would someone please send me a link.

There is a statewide scoreboard on the bottom of this page, but that is the best I can find as well.

Looks like all 4 men's games have video today, although on a February day as nice as this one I don't know why you wouldn't want to drive out to your game of choice.   These...  8-)......might be necessary.

I notice Albion's Mike Smith hasn't played in the last couple games, and in fact is not even listed on the roster anymore.  With Chris Hutton sitting the year out, Anthony Wash out for the year already the Britons really couldn't afford to lose anyone else.  Being one body short on the interior with Hope is dicey.

I wasn't at the first meeting in Holland, things didn't go well for Albion.

Alma has a really good chance today to win its 4th MIAA contest of the year.  That would match their 4 wins in 2009 and would be 1 short of their decade high of 5 MIAA wins.   Defense is probably optional today up at Alma.

Looks like its reunion day for Kzoo's 1962 MIAA championship team. Was that their last title?

Didn't play against Calvin on Wednesday either.

KVS getting good minutes from  Nadeau, Dykstra, Huizenga.  Need to stop fouling!

And Matt DeBoer goes down. Looks like a knee, and it doesn't look good.

No.  1967 Co champion with Hope just like co champion with Hope in 62.  Last solo championship was 1950 before Calvin entered MIAA.

Enjoy watching Sac's body language when he thinks the officials are giving Hope bad calls.  Albion is closer than they should be.  8 turnovers for Hope is too many.
