Hopester

I have already begun doing some scouting on UWSP and IWU.

Does anyone know if Tyler Tillema is supposed to play this weekend?
Its a great day to be a Dutchman!

Here are the very kind  :) words from HopeFan on the SLIAC site:

So Westmin travels to Holland Michigan and Hope

Guys, it will be the D3 experience of your lives....

One of the nicest D3 facilities you will ever play in

The largest D3 crowd you will ever play in front of..

and, if you get a chance to meet them, some of the nicest D3 people you will ever meet....

Play your best, the same hustle and drive you showed in the conference tourney, and you will get 100% respect from the Hope crowd.....

Thanks HopeFan!!   :)

And... are you SURE that you can't be there???  Double-dog sure????!!!!   :)

If not, I KNOW that you'll be there in spirit!!  We'll give your friends a warm Blue and Orange welcome on your behalf!!

So we can pretty much pencil in a Hope IWU matchup. I guess since we are planning on playing them the next three years, why not add one more?

Ouch guys... I remember the worst night of my Hope fan experience... undefeated no 1 Hope.. and little unknown Heidelberg...... check the result
That one hurt even worse than Rowan.....

Take 'em one at a time......
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Mr. Ypsi

Thanks for the analysis, FDF.  +k

Between that and remembering that Tyler Tillema is out, I'm feeling better about making an entire weekend of it!  I never take ANY WIAC team for granted (especially a multi-national title team!), but my expectation of seeing Hope on Saturday has risen from 45-50% to 60% or so.

That, of course, is always good advice - for the coaches and players!  Hope fans have my full permission to simply assume victory on Friday - for the #1 ranked team in the country to lose at home to the representative of a conference which has NEVER won a d3 tourney game, would be the greatest upset since Chaminade beat Ralph Sampson's #1 Virginia team! 8-)

gohope, I have not had the privilege to meet you like some of the other esteemed posters, but excuse my rash comments from earlier. They are the simple comments from myself, and I dare say my confidence sometimes makes me talk a bigger game than I play.

That being said I agree with the Ypsi. Fans should be allowed to look ahead, no harm there.
Its a great day to be a Dutchman!

"It all started with the great defensive play with Pete (Bunn) getting the strip. It was one of those dunks where you go up and you don't even think about dunking it, but you're up there. So you might as well flush it."

I simply can't relate

BogeyMan

NCAC - OWU, Witt, Woo
OAC - Cap, Carroll
MIAA - Hope

Sure wish we could get that turned around.  One thing to say,  GO HOPE!!!!!
