Scratch Elk Rapids' all-time leading scorer Luke Morrison off Calvin's list, he signed with Cornerstone.

Calvin's list  (may or may not be complete.....or factual)

1. consult master plan -complete
2. fill arena in non Hope game
3. try harder
4. beat Hope
5. beat Adrian
6. find student section that does more than cheer when we score
7. point at 12 year old banners -complete
8. don't end season vs Hope for 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years, 6 years, 7 years, 8 years in row
9. qualify for NCAA tournament
10. get 5th year for Mitch Vallie -complete
11. get 5th year for Jordan Brink
12.  recruit and get Luke Morrison-cornerstone
13.  recruit and get Jon Maas-hope
14.  drink more water - pending

ps  have a laugh you little karma snatchers.

It's ok.  I'd rather point to a 12 year old banner AND a 20 year old banner than point to an 'Attendance leader banner' or an 'All MIAA sports award banner'    ;)

BTW, what is the "statute of limitations" on banner pointing??  5 years? 10 years? There is none? I don't know, but I'm sick of Calvin fans doing it?   ;D

Either

A.  when you cease being proud of your school's historical accomplishments, or
B.  when your archrival gets just one of their very own

whichever occurs first.  Happily, neither has yet.   :)

I'd actually prefer to focus on what's happening on the floor, but I understand your need to look up at the banners   :o

I think getting a 5th year option will be a whole lot easier than actually getting Mitch and Jordan to stay a 5th year. It's hard enough getting kids to come to play for 4 years looking at the financial obligation, let alone a 5th year...and the bad part about hoops is that it's not like soccer or T&F where you can go to school for one semester to play  :-\

If you earn your degree in four years though, I don't think you have to be enrolled full time for that fifth year. I forget how that works though. I think Greg Immink did something like that for his fifth year at Hope if I am remembering things correctly.

Pat Coleman

There's the ballroom dancing plan, like Matt Leinart was on at USC. That's available to any NCAA student-athlete -- if all you need is a class or two to finish your degree, then you do not need to be enrolled full-time in order to have athletic eligibility.

According to the Official Book, the statute of limitations expires when your rivals just laugh when you point at those dusty, moth-eaten things.  In other words, about 2 years ago.   ;D

To say the 2011-12 Titans were a "loose bunch" would be an understatement!

I'm pretty sure 'where's your banner?' can be easily changed to 'where's your other banner?' quite easily.

Please everyone look at this...you want to see fun and friendship and what it's like to be on a TEAM...  it can't be shown any better than this...
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

The NCAA must have updated their mileage database. Calvin and Wheaton are now 210 miles apart (or 211 depending on which direction you're going).

Just checked some other borderline matchups, and the only in/out of region change for the Knights is Elmhurst is now definitely out of region for Calvin. Used to be 198 miles in one direction and 201 in the other, but it now lists Elmhurst as 202 and 203.  :(

https://web1.ncaa.org/TES/exec/miles

So, that now means 6 of the closest 12 non-con D3's are out of region for the Knights.
