Indiana and Kentucky are both easy to overlook.
Unless you're talking college basketball. ;D

Covenant's from Lookout Mountain, Ga which is 650 miles away so of course this game is in-region.

d3hoops doesnt list the game as in region.  Who Should we contact to make the correction?  Is there someone better than Mr. Coleman?

Plus, how does one miss such an obviously in-region game like this one?  Michigan<->Georgia...they are practically neighbors!  AND, considering that Lookout Mountain is virtually in Tennessee, Hope and Covenant are really only 1 state apart.

Covenant is in year 4 of the process of becoming a NCAA Division 3 member.  I don't know if they have to be an established member to be considered in region.  Someone with more knowledge than I will be able to answer that question.

sac

Unless the rule has changed year 3 provisionals begin to count for in-region purposes.

My math skills are failing me.  It might be time for this accountant to find a new profession!  Or maybe, I can blame it on my forgetting that Kentucky is a state!  ;D

Today's games
Calvin at Finlandia, 1 p.m.
Trine at North Park, Ill., 2 p.m.
Alma at Oberlin, 3 p.m.
Spring Arbor at Hope, 3 p.m.
Kenyon, Ohio at Albion, 5 p.m.

Lots of opportunities for wins today. Hope might have a little trouble with SAU's four guard offense but we'll see.  Looks like Calvin may be getting out of dodge before a little storm dumps on the Keewenaw.

Kentucky is a Commonwealth, though this doesn't get you off the hook. ;)

The Calvin game at Finlandia is 3 p.m.
The Finlandia site is showing a womens game at 1 p.m. and Calvin at 3.
I think our friends at MIAA got this one incorrect.

Bill Wirtz is advising Hope in this matter.

Going to go out on a limb here but watching for 1+ games  this weekend, the starting lineup for hope come "important" game time will be...Overway, Edison, seiler, snuggs, and benson.  Chase is a solid role player, a spark plug and nva just isn't very good, nor can you count on him to stay on the floor/out of foul trouble, even if he is productive- scoring or maybe more than a couple boards.  He will come in to spell the others two bigs because the eluded to five is pretty darn athletic on both ends...or I don't know anything about basketball..we shall see

Edit-  forgot about whittenbach, replace AE with him.  AE is a great example of how "average" the OKRed can make most players look...to an outsider.

Now 51-30 early in the second half. Quality of the video isn't the greatest but at least they have it. ;) From the looks of it Calvin is not struggling to get good shots.

It's all Calvin...73-41 halfway through the final stanza.

The hay . . . .

Looking like a summer rec league game now.  Not much defense on either end.
