All "A-hole" team from recent memory... The guys you hate to play against and hate to have your team play but love to have in your foxhole
PG- DVS
SG- D. Griffin
Wing- B. Schnyders
4- K. Kazen (drug-free of course)
5- Snuggs

I could easily come up with a few reserves too ;)...

Just out of curiosity, what kind of source do you have for this?  I've been wondering since the roster came out this season.  The first version of the roster, that is...   :-\

So the only MIAA game without live video will be Calvin @ Albion? Cool.

Not missing much so far.  Albion and the Knights are knotted at 28 at the half.
Over at Adrian, Hope is running the Bulldogs out of the Merillat.

Maybe you're too young to remember, but there's no way you can keep Nate Burgess out of the starting lineup. Should be team captain in fact.

Final from the iconic Kresge Gymnasium

Calvin 66
Albion 63

It was a tight contest throughout.  Tom Snikkers saved the Knights with 24 points and 7 rebounds.  Jordan Brink warmed up in the second half to add 16.  The Knights missed their first 11 shots from beyond the arc and ended up a dismal 4-20 from long range.

They were so cold, in fact, that they finished 4-9!

Sounds like it was the worst game ever to watch.

Tyler Kruis only 2 shot attempts in 30 minutes.  That's not good.

A combination of a poor shooting start (Calvin made 5 their first 29 shots and missed their first 11 three attempts) and too many turnovers nearly doomed Calvin's chances. Snikkers had another fine game with 24 points and 7 boards. Brink missed his first 6 triples before hitting two HUGE ones late. I'm mystified that Tyler Kruis only took two shots--none in the first half--in 30 minutes of action.

Hope holds on for a huge 81-72 win at Adrian. Snuggerud played 6 minutes and VanArendonk 10.

Wow,  I did not think Hope would win there without a big game from Snuggerud.

I am amazed that Hope would win by that kind of a margin with such a little contribution from from Snuggerud!  Suggestions that Adrian was overrated must be correct.  Hope's guards and lesser known contributors show they are good players, too.  Their freshman center is really coming on, it appears.

Tough start for Adrian who now has dug a huge hole for themselves. They're trying to beat the MIAA's best teams by riding the backs of Barnes and Lewis. That backcourt pair has played 78 and 76 minutes out of a possible 80--and has taken 64 shots--in two games. It's not working.

Calvin might hold the Brits under 45 if they don't call the dogs off too early.

How did this work out?   Calvin needs to play  much better defense and offense than they did today if they plan on winning the league. Also, Albion forced more turnovers than I'm used to seeing out of Calvin.  Effort was clearly in favor of Albion.
