Slap something together and charge $5, it would be extra revenue and it might even encourage far flung alums to stay in contact with their school and donate a little extra money from time to time..

Amen! Preach it brother!!! I'd pay at least that.

There were a lot of rebounds available with both teams struggling from the field.  The Knights recovered from a horrific start, missing their first 16 shots from the field, to hit almost 50 percent of their last 37 field goal attempts.  Powell, with 19*, and Kruis, with 16 points and 10 rebounds, powered Calvin this afternoon.

* By the dubious count of Tri-State Trine's Live Stats.

I believe Powell actually had 16. The Livestats shows the wrong final score and I believe it was due to an incorrect entry in which Powell was marked down for a 3 pt make instead of an offensive foul.

In the postgame, KVS was obviously unhappy with Calvin's start on the offensive side but labeled his team's defense today as "phenomenal." I also picked up a portion of Trine's broadcast (Wow, their play-by-play and color guys are really good!) and Trine's coach marveled at Calvin's ability to defend.

Alma beat Albion 78-76. Adrian leads Kzoo 43-13 at half. Ugh.

Marvel is a good choice of words after watching his shooter Mr. Jackson held to just 4 points.

Think Calvin had a fast start against Hope on Wednesday?  Well, Adrian finished the first half with Kalamazoo today with a lead of 43-13.  Wow!

Trine hit 5 of their first 7 shots to open the second half and took a 34-27 lead with 15:58 left. Calvin then proceeded to outscore the Thunder 29-9 the rest of the game and held them to 3-21 from the floor.

If pregame live stats are correct, no Garner Small in starting lineup for Olivet

Wonder if it was the same PBP guys that did the women's broadcast a bit earlier?  I thought they did an outstanding job calling that game, even with the home team being stomped by the Flying Dutch.  Very impressed.

Without Garner Small having played, Olivet still leads Hope at the half, 34-28. Hope is 0-6 from the arc and has committed 12 turnovers.

And VanArendonk with a goose egg. He did manage to grab one rebound in zero minutes though. Put that in your TI calculator to come up with a 40 minute average and watch it explode.

EDIT: They just changed it and gave him 1 minuteof pt. Darn! I wanted to see fireworks.
