If you are at the Alma game, please tilt the camera so we can see the basket.  Thanks.

It's more of an artistic event if you can't actually see whether or not anyone scores.

Also please log Tyler Kruis' points as Tyler Kruis and not Austin Parks on the LiveStats. Thanks.

13-2 run for the Knights to end the half. 46-27 is the score at the break. Powell has 14 and Snikkers has 10. Calvin owns the glass 25-13.

Adrian Bulldawg Alum

Adrian dominating Olivet at half 34 to 13.

Stats are all in favor of Adrian, but the big one is 3 pointers.  Olivet is 0 for 10 and Adrian is 4 for 8.

This is a game Adrian needs badly just to make the playoffs.  They are playing like it too.

Just great. I was watching (on TV) Appling being taken off the court with an injury and missed what happened to Powell. Doesn't look good.

Update: Looks pretty good for Powell and Brink on Saturday according to VandeStreek.

There's 20 wins for Calvin. Somewhere realist takes one (quite small) step back from the ledge. ;)

KVS thinks it was a bruised hip. "I think he'll be all right" says the coach. "I'm glad he wasn't on crutches or anything. We had enough of that last year".

Also per the post-game: Brink is symptom free and could have practiced beginning today had the team held a practice. Should be fine for Saturday.

KVS reveals Snuggerud was the runner up in MVP balloting last year (did we know this?).

Calvin # 4 in the first GL regional poll.
I guess this proves the point it really doesn't matter what us posters think the NCAA has their own opinion, and the last word.
Wooster #1.
OWU #2.
Thomas More #3.

Congrats to Alma Sr. Greg Silverthorn on his 1,000th career point tonight. Very good career for the young man from Shepherd. Very fitting that the 1,000th point came on a three pointer. He will finish 3rd on the list just short of last year's senior Cory Schneider

KS.   :)  Sorry to disappoint you.  I was never anywhere near any ledge.
I am enjoying the success of this years Calvin team.  It has been 7 seasons (2005-2006) since they managed to make the 20 win plateau so tonight is little reason for joy or celebration.  I still mourn for those lost years when Calvin did not reach it's potential.   :'(

According to the Albion live stats Trine was ahead at the end if regulation, 61-60, so they are now in overtime.  Strange!

Too bad Wooster didn't lose tonight instead of beating OWU in overtime. Doesn't matter really -- but for whatever reason it would make me less ticked about the regional rankings. I note also that the #1 ranked team in the Atlantic (Ramapo) also lost tonight (playing on the road against another regionally ranked team....).  Also -- on 'questionable' (at least in my biased opinion) regional rankings -- which probably should be posted elsewhere -- the Calvin women (I know -- should also be posted elsewhere) are ranked 3rd. The NCAA has ranked Purchase College -- which I've never even heard of -- 3rd in the Atlantic. They have 4 in region losses to colleges which I've mostly never heard of either, and they don't appear to 'ranked' colleges, either. Oh well...

Albion wins in ot 73-68.  Adrian wins 53-35.  Things tighten up for the 4 slot.
