I've watched  2 or 3 Tommies games, never had any problems.  Of course I doubt they saw as much traffic those days as they will next Saturday.

By the way, I believe this will be the MIAA's first attempt to capture The BeltTM

St. Thomas is a flight for Calvin.

Has to be better than a bus ride.... Let's hope the video feed is better, too.

ziggy and I checked the St. Thomas feed during halftime of the Calvin game, and it ran smoothly for us.

Actually, the UST video went out completely in the second half.

UST DOES regularly stream their games (unlike UWSP, who only streamed one game this season).

OK -- again I plead ignorance. What's the belt?

I was afraid someone was going to ask that question.  Go to the multi region board, and you will learn more than you ever dreamed. :) :) :) :) :) :)

Calvin has been in win-or-go-home mode for four games now. In none of those games have they allowed the opponent to score 60.

Adrian - 44
Hope - 57
Rose-Hulman - 52
UW-Stevens Point - 58

For starters, one should only refer to the The BeltTM as The BeltTM.

Failure to do so will call out the weasels for a sure-fire lawsuit.

Mickey DeVries validated last week's 4-4 performance from the floor against RHIT by going 4-4 from the floor tonight. Listening to SP's obviously veteran announcing team contained a couple of interesting tidbits. They mentioned that Snikkers was precisely the type of player Bo Ryan recruited when he was head coach at Platteville--a strong, physical and athletic 6'4" guy who forced action on opposing defenses. They also mentioned that Calvin had a team full of players who understood their roles and executed them to perfection.

If I'm doing my math correctly, Bryan Powell needs 22 points to reach 1000 for his career.

Too bad for Bryan that he didn't get a bigger chunk of those 22 last night, but possibly he'll explode for 22 next Saturday like Brink did last night.

Why are there media time outs?

They have done this the last two maybe three (or more) seasons so that teams are familiar with the timeouts before they get to the championship game which is broadcast either on a network or NCAA.com. This year NCAA.com is broadcasting the quarterfinals and semifinals and CBS Sports Network is broadcasting the championship - all outlets that would like or need to use media timeouts. The timeouts in the early rounds are not as long as they will be for either of the later rounds - especially the championship game.
