Looks like Claremont-Mudd Scripps got the tonic they needed when they played Calvin last month. Since beating the Knights, the Stags haven't lost, lead the SCIAC with a 6-0 record and are 11-4 overall.

Former teammate of Leach?
Yes, and his older brother is on Calvin's JV team and dad, Kyle, played at Calvin as well.  A legacy family.  Heavily recruited and probably the best Timotht player since Bill Van Dyke.

He looks the part as a big-bodied 4-man with a full arsenal offensively. The 6-7 forward is a rising, get-better-by-the-day talent who is one of the best players in the Chicago area no one knows -- even after averaging 17 points and 7.5 rebounds a game as a junior.

What year did Van Dyke graduate?  I don't recall him.

Van Dyke graduated in 1970 and played for Don Vroon with other starters being Taatjes, Wiers, DeKuiper, and Phelps.  Later became CEO of family owned business, Darwill Press, but died of cancer far too young.

Graduated well before I did.  Sad story though

Correct, but it was long before that when Calvin recruited his brother and Danny Leach to set the table for Connor.

OT- Creighton shoots 21-35 from beyond the arc and beats #4 Villanova 96-68. Creighton was up 90-50 with 6:30 minutes to play before Villanova closed on a 18-6 run.

I'm guessing no big deal for those lucky enough to experience the old Knollcrest visitor locker rooms....

I think that in the Civic Center it was possible for someone to be sitting on one of those in the locker-room and actually see the court - or be seen by the fans, should the locker-room door be open.
