I did.  It was nicely done.  There were interviews with several players, some of whom are still connected with the colleges.  They went through the decades and the rise and fall of the programs.  Showed a few replays of key games, with a focus on the last minute types of wins.

Anyone watch the documentary on Hope/Calvin today?

Did not.  I've been living it for most of my life.  In technicolor.  :) :) :'( :'(  With occasional trauma. :-[ :-[ ::) ::)  But mostly rapt appreciation. 8-) 8-) ;D ;D

I watched - thought it was really well done - lots of fabulous and not so fabulous memories relived. Supposedly will be available online in the near future.

De documentary caused a big decision dis Sunday for some of us.  I vant to see de Super Bowl tonight so am scratching de evenink service from my day.   Dis mornink, de koffeekletch following de service, kept me from seeink it.  Did Ryan Terpstra do a goot job?  Sammy probably would have done it harder, eh?

I enjoyed it a great deal except for the coverage of the most recent Calvin-Hope game which hit a raw nerve -- still not over that loss although it was interesting hearing the coaches talk to the teams before the big game and the like. I suspected that Kevin VandeStreek didn't have a really good understanding of the of the Calvin-Hope rivalry when he first arrived at Calvin, and I appreciated his honesty in admitting this. I think a lot of folks who have not experienced a Calvin-Hope game don't really understand it. In fact, I think 'Dave' (from D3 Hoops) mentioned in his recent interview with Neil that although he has been in both VanNoord and Devos arenas (for the women's final four), he has not been to a Calvin-Hope game. Maybe the next rivalry game will be closer than than the last one .... maybe not.

Maybe not.  Average margin of victory over the last four games between these two teams has been 14 points, with each team winning twice

I'm guessing I didn't get the email that Calvin-Hope tickets were available and that they're sold out now?

I'm in the same situation even though I have ordered season tickets for years.  In the past we were always notified and had a day before regular ticket sales.  Someone told me there were fewer tickets available to Calvin this year.  Is that the reason regular attendees were left off?

I have heard two different stories on whether or not Hope is doing video.  One said they will have it for the rest of their games, the other linked to a Hope release saying it will only be two of the remaining games.  I see no link on the MIAA site today, so I am guessing no video?!?

I can understand the argument that was made before that maybe they want to make sure they do it right before they commit to it fully.  My problem is that I don't care if it is professionally done or not, I would really just like to see the game.  Don't even worry about having another camera, just give me the shot from the camera that the team is using to film the game and cut out the audio.

The most frustrating part of this for me is to know they have the technology and are choosing not to use it tonight.  :(

On good authority, Calvin was given 17% of capacity, between 500-600 tickets.

About 270 of those were designated student tickets
