Get there early, it will likely be a sell out.  There are sizeable lots in front of (Lincoln Ave) and to the side of DeVos from 11th St., but they will fill up for a sell out and particularly when there are still snowbanks to contend with.  There is on street parking on many of the surrounding side streets, and there is overflow parking a 5 minute walk away at the football stadium off 13th St.  Good luck!

Someone needs to send Sethteater to the school of D3Board "quotes". Okay, I'll do it.

Just hit the "quote" button on the upper right and then start typing at the bottom below this  [{forward slash}quote]. You seem to be erasing the header of the quote. You can do this. We have faith in you.

I modified all of his posts from today in CCIW Chat (and yours as well that quoted him) in order to make your conversation readable. I'm not going to bother to do that here.

I was going to scold Seth myself before I saw your post, but then I realized that I'd be channeling my mother telling me to clean my room when I was ten years old. ;)
It's not like the guy is responsible for shooting down the Hindenburg. You're fine in my book Seth. (Of course, I am a person who struggles with basic computer skills, so...)

basic, archaic, toh-may-toh, toh-mah-toh... maybe I'll hit up the library and see if I can find "MS-DOS for Dummies"... hopefully they don't make me use a card-catalog!

What's MS-DOS? And what's wrong with using a card-catalog?

I actually still have a Rolodex on my credenza I use. :o My son saw it recently and simply shook his head in total disbelief. ::)

Rotary as in turn the crank a few times to get to the operator (maybe only oldknight knows what this is), or rotary like a dial that has numbers on it   :P

Doesn't have anything to do with parking, but if your pretzel comes with purple glazing I'd think twice.

Parking won't be a problem, DBQ1965 . . . and I'd be surprised if Friday night was a sell-out, especially with the two Holland high schools having tournament games in town and Dance Marathon underway on campus . . . all simultaneously.  Hope you enjoy your visit to a facility that we Hope fans think is the finest DIII BB facility in the country.

You mean how they change the lighting right before the game begins to something totally different than what the teams use to warm up? No, not a fan of that

Hitters use a different bat/donut in the on-deck circle than they use at the plate.

I honestly have never noticed the lights. Maybe I was too preoccupied by the wide pathway around the entire arena diminishing the viewing experience for everyone not in the lower bowl or the fact that I get splashed every time I wash my hands because the bathroom water pressure is too high...

That's funny! I thought the same thing... Internally I said, "I know what a Rolodex is... but what is a credenza?" My first thought was a plant, but that doesn't make very much sense contextually....

FWIW, the average MIAA opponent had a 3% higher free throw percentage in their game at Calvin than they did in their home game vs. Calvin over the last three seasons.
