Anybody pull a more impressive double than Calvin this weekend?  I'm going with no.  Impressive stuff.

I just wanted to pop in and say how much I enjoyed watching your Team. I found Calvin was a very entertaining team. I think with the right match ups they are a tough out. Congrats. Good Luck Calvin.

This Knight fan feels more energized and excited ('youthful') than at any point this year.
This surpasses my expectations. I was hoping for a close game and a possible last second shot to win the game.
Knights!

This Calvin team confuses me.  Which team is real, the one that was destroyed by Hope twice, or the one we're looking at now.

That was the longest last minute ever!

All Knight fans aged a year tonight.

Some things improve with age, as you know.
What a delight to see Calvin play with such urgency and intensity this weekend.
That's the team I had expected to see all year long.
Looking forward to taking on the Titans.

Time for the three guard line up.

Jordan, Jordan and Austin finished with 57 points on 20-36 from the floor. Best combined game for that trio all season and mighty timely.

Kevin Vande Streek knows how to win in the Tournament. You can argue he doesn't get his teams there enough -- which, fair enough -- but Calvin has typically come out very strong when they get there (especially when you take out the results of playing good Hope teams for the fourth and fifth time in a season).

This is probably why he doesn't immediately switch up his defensive style the minute they lose to Hope in conference play. When that thing starts ticking at the end of the year, good teams such as Wittenberg and Wash U can look bewildered. This Calvin team has absolutely come together in the last couple of weeks.

So interesting that the guards have proved to be a major strength at the end of the year when they seemed to be the team  weakness early on.  They have really come on in defense and have done a much better job of protecting the ball on offense.  I'll admit that early on I thought they would have trouble all year with speedy guards.  Boy, has that changed!

Calvin now holds the distinction of being the last visitor to leave Wash U and UW-Stevens Point victorious.

Point went undefeated at home this year after losing to Calvin in the second round of last year's tournament. Wash U's two losses this season were both on the road. Two schools not used to losing at home.
