So piecing together a bit of the MIAA schedule for Hope - it looks brutal (nice welcome to the league for the new coach).  Hope will play the other 3 MIAA tournament teams (from last year) back-to-back-to-back.  And with a double round robin, they get to do it twice.  And the second time around has @ Calvin immedaitely followed by @ Albion.   :o

Jan 7 ----- @ Trine
Jan 10 ---- Calvin
Jan 14 ---- Albion

Jan 31 ---- Trine
Feb 4 ----- @ Calvin
Feb 7 ----- @ Albion

Pretty sure the MIAA schedule is the same as last year but with the locations reversed for everyone.  Making Hope's schedule.......

Jan 7 @ Trine
Jan 10 Calvin
Jan 14 Albion
Jan 18 @ Olivet
Jan 21  Alma
Jan 25 @ Kalamazoo
Jan 28 @ Adrian
Jan 31 Trine
Feb 4 @ Calvin
Feb 7 @ Albion
Feb 11  Olivet
Feb 14  @ Alma
Feb 18  Kalamazoo
Feb 21  Adrian

If I'm not mistaken, and I might be, the schedule I saw had Hope playing Ohio Wesleyan shortly after New Years, either the 3rd or 4th.  I might be remembering that wrong though. :-\

With any luck they'll have a coach by then.

When Smokin' Joe was let go, K really dragged their feet when they had Rob Passage there the entire time ready to go.  I still believe it cost K Andy Phillips and others, as it happened leading up to the May deadline.

think Hope is better off being this happened when it did.
