I guess so.  Was going by the MIAA master calendar, which still says Oct 30th for the men and Nov 6th for the women.

I don't see what my ear has to do with any of this.

Maybe the goal mascots need it for an upcoming bit.

You seem to be having an identity crisis.

Curry posts on a different site.  You are sac.

Or did you misread it as 'cauliflower ear'? :P

Trine's roster is up:

Ben Syroka saw inconsistent minutes at Wittenberg before transferring to Trine this past year.  Defensive menace who doesn't lack for confidence, could be a nice pickup for the Thunder.

It appears that there is more height around the league with Trine having a player 6' 9" and a couple 6' 7", Kalamazoo 2 players 6' 9" and one just an inch shorter, Alma with 3 at 6' 7."  Apparently Alma's are skilled athletes who are expected to make an impact--maybe even this year.  Any word on whether any of the others have enough skills to have an impact?

Can't speak to Trine or Alma but the three players 6'8" plus at Kalamazoo are all pretty athletic.  The sophomore will start (IMO) and the two freshmen will compete for time.  The offense they are putting in is somewhat complicated so it may take time to see the Fr impact.

K's best big is Jason Hugan, great feel and timing as a shot blocker.

All three of Alma's freshman forwards can play, assuming Gamble is in shape.

Have heard Trine guys are projects but haven't seen them.

Here was last year's poll.

2013 Poll Results: 1. Calvin (6) 8 pts. 2. Hope (2) 12. 3. Adrian 21.  4. Trine 26. 5. Alma 32. 6. Olivet 37. 7. Kalamazoo 41. 8. Albion 47.

Albion ended up finishing third and Adrian went 1-13. The rest of it looks non-terrible however.

Was perusing some MIAA rosters...and stumbled onto the fact that Kody Chandler, formerly of Goshen and Indian Tech, is now at Olivet with his former Schoolcraft teammate Blake Krum.  I don't believe he played anywhere last year, and I know nothing about the current status of his game, but if he is anywhere near where he was when he was a freshman at Goshen before that whole thing unravelled, he has the potential to be a difference maker for Olivet and one of the better players in the league.

Coach Hargraves getting that Alma ship sailing faster.  Look forward to seeing them play some WIAC teams this season.

Olivet
http://www.olivetcomets.com/sports/mbkb/2014-15/roster

TJ Vondette is on the roster but have heard from a couple people he's been out and it may be awhile before he plays. ("if at all"  ???)

Alex Mayo and Eddie Rogers (Concordia) didn't return.  Also Riley Boyers, 6-7 forward who spent almost all of last year not playing.

DeOndra Callahan was a pretty good high school player in Lansing, he went to a JC before landing at Cornerstone and was witness to the traffic jam at the guard position there, not entirely surprised he's at Olivet now.
