Sounds like tickets go on sale at 4pm CST at the Carver Center... I would assume that this would mean tickets aren't being sold separately at each school?!? I also wouldn't assume that the Hope/Mount St. Joseph game would sell out but for fans driving to Rock Island without a ticket in hand seems silly... Drive 4.5 hours... wait in line... hope to get a ticket... Am I getting this right?

"The NCAA has set ticket prices for both nights at $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Tickets, which will all be general admission, go on sale at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday."

That was the situation last time we were there - and getting tickets was not a problem.

The Carver Center has a listed capacity of 1900, they reached that twice this year and have 2,300 listed for their game hosting Elmhurst.

The 2011 game vs Hope drew 1922

The previous nights games with Hope/Hanover, Augie/Webster were not sellouts, the Hope/Hanover game drew less than 1,000

Thank you gentlemen! I will relax and enjoy the ride! It will be interesting to see how many Hope faithful make the trip due to the distance and the women hosting at DeVos.

I was thinking the same thing.  I think we have had several other MIAA players nominated before, but no winners.  (Lisa Winkle and Carissa Verkaik won the award on the women's side.)

Great honor for Trine's Jared Holmquist

Congratulations to Jared.  Certainly a class guy who represented Trine and DIII athletics well.  He was fun to watch and tore us up a few times.  Only regret is that Jared did not attend Hope...can you imagine Jared in the Paint for Hope surrounded by the cast of Hope players...wow !

Can you imagine if Jared would have followed in his dad's footsteps and chose Alma?

I think he would have quit basketball rather than play for Hope.
