Is there even such a thing?  :-\

Exactly.

Vinnie Johnson shot .471 on 2-pt field goal attempts in his career and had an overall effective field goal percentage of .468. He was a rather poor scorer.

VandeStreek would have taken Vinnie out after he made his first shot.   ;) ;)

That last comment reminds of the days when Barney Steen was coach at Calvin, though as I recall he generally waited until the player hit two or three in a row.  That was a sure sign he had to come out--especially if the shots were from more than 5 feet away!

Only if it was his scheduled time to come out. Have to keep to the substitution schedule no matter what.

Some updated Trine news from the initial announcement of the new ice hockey and basketball arenas:

The Thunder ice hockey arena is now going to be located along US 20 on the north end of campus where they originally had planned the basketball arena was going to be located.  Construction to begin next month with completion in time for the 2017-18 season.  Coaches for the mens and womens programs have been hired.

The basketball arena is now going to be located just west of the current Hershey Hall and will sit next to the university's Zollner Golf Course.  Plans include for the demolition of the current club house.  Construction to begin in spring/summer of 2017 with completion ready for 2018-19 season.

With Hershey Hall being built in the mid to late 1960's are there any present day MIAA arenas that are older?  Hershey isn't ancient, but it was in dire need of a major renovation and the school probably weighed the pros and cons of fixing the old gal up or building a new fieldhouse.  With the explosion of growth on campus it just made more sense to build a new facility and expand the fitness/weight/locker areas to accommodate the needs of the students and visiting teams.

Calvin's 2016-17 schedule is out.

http://calvinknights.com/sports/mbkb/2016-17/schedule

When was the last time Calvin played Wittenberg?

Also Millikin is one of the other teams at the Wittenberg tournament.     http://athletics.millikin.edu/schedule.aspx?path=mbball   Good guess the 4th is an HCAC, PAC or OAC school.
