Ooooo, looking good! Reminds me a little of Cornerstone's gym... but way nicer. Will they be covering those windows at times? I feel like the sunlight from the giant window could make shooting more difficult on that end of the court.

I don't believe window coverings will be necessary.  The windows are on the north/northwest end of the building (the building is angled somewhat from a true N-S footprint) and so the winter sun shouldn't have an effect for those Saturday afternoon games.

Important to note that list that scottiedawg has kept is really a very incomplete list of each schools recruits, for instance I believe Hope is anticipating a Fr class North of 20 and tryout numbers somewhere around 35-40.  Obviously some of those won't make it and of those that don't probably a few will leave school at semesters end.    That is normal for most top level D3 programs.  Olivet is on that track if they continue recruiting with the same success and emphasis.  The Comets have lost about 8 or 9 guys from last years program that I know of, additional attrition aside that should put the Comets at about 30-35 guys or more at their tryout.

Olivet twitter, which I follow, has been very open about their recruits with a "tweet" for each one welcoming them to the OC.  I had heard it was going to be 18 and it ended up 19.   Hope and other schools aren't as open about their recruiting.   I enjoy the fact Coach Hargraves at Alma and Coach Ernst are so open publicly with their recruiting.  Wish other MIAA schools (ahem....ahem) were too but I also understand why they might not be.   To each his own.

(I should amend that a little, Hope recruiting does filter down the grapevine quite well, they just won't tweet about it or put out a nice press release like Alma has recently)

I would imagine Adrian and Albion have much larger classes than just 3 kids.

What is going on with MIAA basketball dates that's causing a simple double round robin  to have 5 away games and 5 home games in each half of the rotation.  Unless dates are being changed for scheduling conflicts this shouldn't be happening.

I'm late getting back to the updated list, but thank you, SD, for updating it.  I also want thank SAC for the 4 year history of rated recruits.  That list supports a theory I have held for several years that the high school records of players are less reliable to predict their success in college, even at the MIAA level, than their ability to learn, adjust, and get up to the speed and team play requited for impact players in college.

Couple transfers from Marygrove for Olivet  (Marygrove has ended its athletics programs)

Eldridge Mason 6-6 F Southfield/Jackson CC/Marygrove  will be a Sr.
Shaun Phillips  6-6 F  Old Redford HS/Marygrove will be a Jr.

Both of these guys came off the bench for Marygrove last year.  I believe the transfer total is now up to 9.  Comets were looking at having maybe only 5 upper classmen coming into the year, now looking at double-digits upper classman.
