The list of PG's better than Tracy Edmond in D3 is a very short one.

Actually, they don't do a 3rd team. I think you're thinking of the d3hoops.com, for which he was included by Flying Dutch Fan

Miles is on the D3Hoops 3rd team - which I posted about as well.  The one you quoted above is for the NABC and Miles was not honored there.

That is awesome - hope he enjoys that experience and represents Olivet and the MIAA well in the game

Jalen Adams had a nice game in the Reece's All Star Game.  He led the West team with 19 points, I hope one of them was one of his high flying dunks.

I don't know about his outside shooting, since he didn't really do any today, but he was easily the most athletic guy on the floor and as a 6'5" guard, he's probably got a clear path to a decent pro career if he wants it.

He did, although I was more impressed with the two stylish passes (one by Ohio Wesleyan's Nate Axelrod, the other by F&M's Brandon Federici) that set him up.

I just finished watching the game. The Nate Axelrod pass to set Jalen up was a thing of beauty. They showed that play 3 or 4 times during the game. It happened around 7:30 to play in the first if anyone is looking to watch it.

Jalen was not a great outside shooter this year, though he has that ability.  He was just 22-77 on the year from deep, 28%.  Just not consistent enough.  He's a terrific baseline wing player at this level with a great fade away, super hops and long arms, he needs to be around the basket.

Just watching him a few times this year, I always felt like he had more ability than he was able to show.  Olivet has a terrific PG so there was no need for the ball to be in Adams hands as a ball handler.  His game might look a little different on a D1 roster.

Reviewing what teams lose and who returns for next season.  Another difficult year to predict next year I think.  These are most used players during conference play. Sorted by a combo of starts and mins

Adrian  17-9, 8-6  3rd tie

Justin Webster  F  Sr.
Jordan Harris   G  Fr.
Jeremy Kalonji  F  So.
Tre'Shon Heard  G  So.
Sam Colbert  G  Fr.
---------------------------
Keyon Rainey  G So.
Cortiz  Buckner  G Fr.
Ke'Shaun Wyatt-Morris  F  So.

Adrian did an amazing job replacing a roster that was so gutted from last year they were picked 8th this year mostly because no one could know who any of these guys were.  Justin Webster is a pretty big loss as Adrian built their entire offense around him.  I think its wise to figure Adrian is going to add to this returning squad and will probably have much better and useful depth for next season.

Albion 9-16, 6-8  5th tie

Corey Wheeler  G  Sr.
Jamezell Davis  G  Jr.
Quinton Armstrong  F Fr.
Nate Collins      G  Jr.
Jaylin Fordham  G  Jr.
Dylan Bennett  G Jr.
Quay Burks  F  So
Caden Ebeling  F  So.
Robert Ryan    G  Sr.
Juwan Perry  G  Fr.
Ryan Lowe  C  Jr.
Arshawn Parker  G  Jr.
Adam Davis  F  Sr.

The Brits had no set starting 5 with all but one of the above players getting at least one MIAA start.  Two things of note I think, one they don't lose a lot in terms of production, two the Brits had a little bit of a youth movement with Davis, Armstrong and Perry getting more minutes later in the year than early.  Albion continued to struggle to get much production from the post positions though Armstrong came on late in the year.  Next year looks like another guard heavy team and a rotation that's nowhere near being set.   But they will be loaded with 6 Sr's, those can be dangerous teams.

Alma 8-17, 5-9 7th

Ryan Stevens   G  So.
Kevin Scheibert  F  Sr.
Rob Holmes  F  Sr.
Luke Lamoreaux  G  So.
------------------
Doug Bradfield  F  Jr.
Kevin Gamble  F/C  Jr.
Arthel  Rosquist  G  Sr.
Steven Harvey  G/F  So.
Jason Majerle  G  Fr.
Amari Hudson  G  Fr.
Scott Maki  G  Jr.

Preston Laketa  F  So *  --can return next season

Most disappointing team in 2018?  Alma had one starting spot that turned into a kind of revolving door and even late in the year seemed to be experimenting to find a solution to a weird lack of productive guard depth.  Kevin Scheibert and Rob Holmes had really good Sr. seasons and that production looks like it might be really hard for Alma to replace unless Bradfield and Gamble really get back on track to earlier promise, even then where's the depth behind them?  Scots weren't far from having a much better year, 4 or 5 close MIAA losses in "swing" games.  Perhaps Laketa being available made that big of a difference.  Wildcard for 2019:  Ryan Stevens playing football?  ex-HS QB is said to have joined the football team for workouts, that can mean a lot of different things.

Calvin 10-15, 6-8 5th tie

Tony Canonie  G  Sr.
Austin Bykerk  F  Jr.
Derrick DeVries  F  So.
--------------------------
Alex  Box  F  So.
Michael Wilks  F  Sr.
Jason Walter  F  Jr.
Luke Morrison  G  Fr.
Carlos Amoros-Guiterrez  G  Jr.
Tom Morrison  F  So.

Tony DeWitte  G  So. *  can return next season, presume as a Soph.

The core of Calvin's team was pretty young and they'll lose two good players in Canonie and Wilks.  Calvin had 3 consistent league starters and then seemed to do a lot of matching up in other games.  The biggest impact on next year will be the return of Tony DeWitte from injury.  Calvin sorely lacked offensive scoring from the guard position in 2018, that will probably be better next year.  But it begs the question is that alone enough to get Calvin back into a minimum of the top 4?

Hope  19-10, 10-4  1st tie, Tournament Champ

Jason Beckman  G  Jr.
Dante Hawkins  G  Sr.
Teddy Ray  F  Jr.
Preston Granger  C  Fr.
Dennis Towns  F  Jr.
-------------------------------
Riley Lewis  G  So.
Ryan Gamm  F  Fr.
Rob McGivney  C  Jr.
Jeff  Goral  G  Jr.
Luke Dreyer  G  Sr.
Danny Beckman  G Fr.*   Injured, recovery timeline is long.

Hope loses just 2 Sr's from this years team.  With Hawkins though that's a lot of production and most importantly quickness at guard that most Hope teams do not have.  Otherwise this is a pretty good and improving core of players returning. Hope should be able to add to this, but will also have some attrition.  Would certainly expect they'll be players in next years MIAA title race.

Kalamazoo 8-17, 3-11  8th

Tanner Blyly  G  So.
Jimmy Poprocki  C  Sr.
Ben Reiter  G/F  So.
Jack Smith  G/F  Fr.
Roger Hood  F  Sr.
-------------------------
Jeremiah Vincent  G  Fr.
Jordan Currie  F/C  Fr.
Janard Smith  G  Fr.
Merritt Hamann  F/C  Fr.
Brennen Buszka  G/F  Fr.
Andrew Scheckell  F  Fr.
Charlie Carson  G  Sr.
Alex Dykema  G Jr.*  injured, can return next year

K loses two starters and those are the last remnants of the Dougal era save for Alex Dykema who can return from injury.  If the Jay Smith hire starts to bear some fruit it might be next year.  This was mostly a super young team that did fairly well given that youth.  I might bet they're picked 8th next year and I might bet they won't finish there.

Olivet 16-11, 10-4  1st tie, Tournament runner-up
Tracy Edmond  G  Jr.
Jalen Adams  G  Sr.
Eldridge Mason  G/F  Sr.
John McAdoo  G/F  Jr.
Angus Bennett  F/C  Sr.
-----------------
Chase Brocker  G  Jr.
Blake Siersema  F/C  Sr.
Sirafino Davis  F/C  Sr.
Diangelo Carlton  G  Jr.
Griffin Lewis  F  Sr.
Aaron Washington  G  Sr.
Delbert Redfield  G  Fr.
Quinton Way  G Sr.

Tevor Manuel  F/C  Jr.*  can play next season

Olivet loses a lot of important talent, top of that list Jalen Adams.  I've been caught in two minds about Olivet's season a little.  I think they were good, but it could have gone bad had they not won so many close games.  And I'm not sure how good they would have been without Marygrove closing up shop early last Fall.  Davis, Bennett and Mason were big parts of Olivet's success.  Olivet's 2019 hinges and replacing Adams, ok done, as Trevor Manuel is expected to suit up for the Comets and that should make things very fun.  Otherwise, yes, Olivet has some holes to fill, but they should be able to do that its just a question of how well.

Adams-Edmond-Mason is not much different from Manuel-Edmond-Brocker maybe.

Trine 12-14,  8-6 3rd tie
Langton Johnson  G  So.
Pete Smith  G  Jr.
Marcus Winters  G  So.
Myles Copeland  F  Jr.
Maurice Hunter  F  So.
------------------
Jason Clune  G  So.
Nick Daman  G.  So.
Sean Corcoran  F  Jr.
Jared Dishop  F  Jr.

Trine can return its entire roster and in a sane world should get some serious looks as pre-season favorite yet they were just 12-14 on the season.  Trine has had some weird attrition lately, including the red flag in-season kind.  Brooks Miller usually plays a pretty short bench and tight rotation, but if they can add one or two really good players to this lineup, lookout and with an entirely upper class returning lineup they might not even have to do that.

An already tight league will probably get tighter next year.  21 Seniors overall, but half of them belong to Olivet and half of those hardly played in league games.  I don't see anyone that will obviously drop off substantially for next year to where they are non-competitive within the league.  Not sure I see anyone who is an obvious top 25 national player again either.
