If your planning on eating out here are some of my favorites in the area:

Buffet - Bon Appetit, located in the Whitney Commons on Trine's campus.  Student dining but also open to public as well.  Within walking distance of MTI Center

Italian - Caruso's (the best breadsticks ever, they come in a tray sitting in melted butter...yum)

My sister and brother-in-law used to have a summer house on Lake Gage. Man, I miss going to Caruso's whenever I was there. Great Italian food, and those breadsticks are amazing.

@TUAngola
Thanks for the info. I'll be making the trek for the men's games tomorrow, I was able to get out of work for it. Thanks for the info. If I knew how to give you +karma I would.

You're still 82 posts away from being able to distribute karma. It kicks in at 200 posts.

To add on to TUAngola. Pizza King in Indiana is the best pizza I've ever had. There are a few on this board that would also agree

Yes, the Angola Pizza King is very very good too.  Between them and Monument Pizza it's a toss up.  No other pizza place in town comes close.

Not making the trip to Angola, but do have the afternoon off and will be watching all 4 games online.  Our dinner during this MIAA marathon will be a frozen pizza from Pizza King in Angola.  My wife is a Hoosier and grew up on Pizza King and we both love it  Little tip - order an extra pizza, "half-baked".  You can take that home, wrap it up and freeze it, and then enjoy Pizza King at home

MIAA MVP Pete Smith scored 42 in his two games against Calvin this year (12-19 3pt). Trine as a team shot 19-33 from deep against Calvin this year. The Knights are going to have to figure out a way to prevent that this afternoon.

Whatever they did against Hope defensively would be a good start.  Not seen a team play D much better to stop the 3 than Calvin did against Hope on Wed night.

I'll jump on the bandwagon, as a Hoosier myself Pizza King is very underrated! On the basketball side I always enjoy hearing what the number guys believe outcomes will be. Any score predictions for games?

Just home from work (half day today thanks to my employer ;D), and heading over to MTI in half hour or so.  I failed to mention that in the lower level of MIT is Club Z, which serves sandwiches and adult beverages.  This is tied to the Zollner Golf Course clubhouse also on the lower level.  I am uncertain if Club Z will be open today or not, it's typically only open on golfing days.  If it isn't open then just feel free to explore the lower level between games (stairs are in the NE corner of the center just before the restrooms.  There's a 6 lane bowling alley, a huge E-Sports gaming room, fitness facility, and the aforementioned Clubhouse if you want to shop for gear for the upcoming golf season.   On the upper level the T-Gear shop will open for anyone wanting to purchase Trine logo items.  The bookstore is on campus in the University Center and is open until 4 today if you want to explore, it's a pretty cool building (right across from the football stadium).

As far as today's matchups, I really don't see any favorite, it all depends on who is on and who isn't.  Obviously Olivet has the most talent, if they are playing well I look for them to come out on top when all is said and done on Saturday.  Trine has to shoot well from 3, if they don't it puts too much pressure on the inside guys to score.  When both the inside and outside game are on, we're a pretty tough team.

Here is what Massey predicts:

Albion 75
Olivet 74

with Albion at a 51% chance of winning

Calvin 70
Trine 76

with Trine at a 72% chance of winning

Both of those sound about right to me, and should make for some very entertaining games!

Thanks for posting! I agree, both should be exciting close games!

If your heading into MTI the parking lots all have closed signs. They are open for tournament parking and closed to everyone else.

With the game about to start there are about 100 people in MTI. I know this because I could quickly count them. It's absurd that the MIAA went with 1/3/5/7 game times.

I agree. If one school hosts both guys and girls, they really should try to go Tue/Thr/Sat, Wed/Fri/Sat

Blasphemy, pure blasphemy!!! To even consider those charlatans to be pizza is an insult to Fricano's, the holy Grail of pizza.
