I'm not sure Northern Michigan actually pays that much more for their head basketball coach.  Its probably on par or close, but cost of living is less in Marquette.

On the other hand, you have to live in Marquette.  In the Winter.

Nope. SAO was merged, not dissolved.
Not really the picture painted by the Calvin Chimes.

They emphasize the gospel at Calvin but the Chimes isn't where one goes to find it.

Didn't Terry Smith say something along the lines of, "Any and all opportunities that don't involve another winter in Houghton/Hancock..." when asked where he was looking to go after resigning from Finlandia?

I could definitely see why someone would prefer to live in EGR or Forest Hills and coach at Calvin vs. Marquette... In the winter :)
Let's go Dutchmen!

This seems to be along the right lines, sadly.

Do you mean to tell me I'm wasting my time refreshing the Chimes website waiting for them to break the new head coach news?

Jake Schuler  6-5  F  Rochester Adams will attend Trine.

Interest:   Kalamazoo, Rose-Hulman and WashU.....at least.
Thanks for the news SAC.  Appreciate any Trine recruiting updates out of Michigan.  I watched this kids highlights.  For 6'5 he appears to prefer the perimeter offensively, has a nice stroke.  Would have liked to seen more interior highlights, doesn't look to be a back to the basket type player.

Popp pulled a Steve Ernst last night and called a timeout one minute into the game just to complain to the officials about a no call. They ejected him for his trouble. Who knew the MIAA had NBA style coaching in Olivet last season.
