So Coach Mitchell finally gets that all-star recruiting class Hope fans were looking for. I would think he got all his top targets which is awesome. Shouldn't be anymore major news that i'm aware of. Although there a few exciting situations that could get interesting... stay tuned :)

Such a spectacular recruiting class for Hope!  Mitchell will be on the hot seat if they can't get it done this year.

If they have a season like last year probably. But you gotta give him more than a year to coach this freshman group

Its actually ok to be excited about your school having a good recruiting class and getting quality young men into your program.  But very few Freshmen classes are about next year, they are about the 2 or 3 years after next that matter.

I think there is also potential for 2 or 3 other MIAA schools to have very good to great recruiting classes this year as well.  They dynamics of the tight, close league of the last 2 or 3 years isn't going to change much.

This.

I'm very excited about Hope's recruiting class this year. But in that regard, my excitement is really for the 2020-21 season. Yes, I think Dykhouse, Thomas, VanKoevering, and even some of the out of state guys have a shot at contributing right away. But it would be unrealistic to expect a group of freshmen to come in and immediately think that Hope's suddenly closed the gap between them and Albion.
Let's go Dutchmen!

Good get for the Comets - I was impressed with Noah's play in the state championship game

Wiswary was under the radar until the state tournament.  I heard more schools showed interest in him.  KVS was recruiting him.  He's tough, a leader, can shoot the 3, can get to the basket, great at leading the break, and plays good defense.  Olivet may be short on experience next year and Wiswary may be able to earn time as a freshman.  I think he will be a very good MIAA player.

He was a starter on both football and basketball state championship teams.

I saw coach on campus with a recruit today and it must have been Noah, as he was wearing a Unity football sweatshirt. Coach also had his secret recruiting weapon with him today, his baby daughter. You can tell that coach is a family man and it's nice to see that he isn't afraid to bring his family around to meet the recruits. The more I learn about him the happier I am with this hire.

It may have been TJ Van Koevering,  he and Wiswary could be looking at a package deal.
