Still no roster posted by Calvin. What gives?

6'3 G TJ McKenzie now listed on Hope's roster.  If I remember correctly, he only played a partial season on JV last year.  A little surprising to see his name - thought he might have decided to focus solely on football last year

And it's even more surprising to given that he is also on the FB roster and started some games last year as a FR.  With FB schedule to start games on March 13th, not sure how this can work.

Nothing against TJ at all, but they also already have 20 other players on the roster.  Why do they need another player taking up space at the bottom of the depth chart?

Calvin's roster set yet?

Not according to Calvin's website.  I keep looking because of the interest in whether the prized recruits and the transfer from Grand Valley actually arrived.  But it just continues to list last year's roster.

I'm pretty sure they did arrive, since they played in the team's inter squad scrimmage on October 31. That scrimmage was available to watch online.

Yes, as OK noted the players you are referring to did play in the scrimmage. When/if this season gets going I expect freshmen Luke Scheffers, Uchenna Ekegeze and Marcus Bult to be early contributors. I think the first two are locks for consistent solid playing time right away with Bult's playing time depending on how things shape up and how deep Sall wants to go.

Based one what I saw in the scrimmage I would start Scheffers alongside Shymanski in the backcourt with Warners, one of Katje/Minderhoud/Ekegeze and Brandon Paul in the front court. I'm really excited for any opportunities to get Scheffers and Ekegeze in the open floor together and you can tell they come in with chemistry already. Ekegeze is one of those guys that has a knack for just being involved everywhere with great hustle and overall activity on both ends of the floor.
