I truthfully thought for a moment that Killer Queen was the pseudonym that you chose for your wife. When I realized that it was a band, I had to google them to find out they are a Queen Tribute band.

I thought it was his buddy Swampgoon's out-of-town girlfriend.

We've got a Baldwin Wallace fan or two over on the football boards. Killer Queen would probably be a more appropriate moniker for a yellow jacket. Or a hornet? Any K College fans around these days?

WUPHF already knew the answer to his question. We discussed this off-board previously. He was just trying put me on the spot! The tribute band was pretty good...again, making me realize how many Queen songs I didn't know.

I'll be sure to inform Swampgoon. He's married now, so hopefully he still doesn't have that out-of-town girlfriend anymore.

Trine's MBB 2022-23 schedule is up:

https://www.trinethunder.com/sports/mbkb/2022-23/schedule

11 non-conference games, 6 home, 5 away.  Several are re-matches from last year:  Manchester, Benedictine, Anderson, UW Stevens Point, UW La Crosse, Mount St Joseph and Baldwin Wallace.  4 newcomers are Earlham, Rose-Hulman, Capital and Lawrence.  Not quite as robust as last year's non-conference schedule but still challenging for a team with lots of unknowns going into this season.

Yep. Looks that way. I changed them all to reflect as much... I just couldn't figure out when and where Olivet and Kzoo were supposed to play last season....

Albion posted their schedule with some TBAs for tournaments.

The Dec 17/18 games at Trine would be  Lawrence and Mt. St. Joseph

PSU-Altoona and LaRoche could be sneaky good games.  Albion should get good SOS value out of those two

Unless part of Holmes, McAbee, Barnes, and Garland are coming back for a 5th year of eligibility, I have a hard time picturing Albion's SOS coming into play much this season...

Per trinethunder.com former Trine assistant mens basketball coach then Adrian head basketball coach Kyle Lindsay has been re-hired as an assistant coach at Trine.  He replaces Drew Lehman on the Thunder staff.  I find it sort of odd that Kyle is coming back to Trine, but he and Brooks have been friends for a long long time.

He may simply be securing a gig for the coming school year. We're at a pretty late stage in the normal hiring cycle as far as college basketball head coaches are concerned; pickings are pretty slim once schools have let out for the summer.

Looks like he bolted on a HS head coaching gig he accepted in April. Always nice when coaches commit to kids and then bolt two months later... (and people get pissed at kids in the transfer portal #smdh)
