Now that I have put away childish things (for the greater part), I try to avoid the blame game.
For the record, FDF adopted that sig line when I was attempting (with little success) to mediate a dust up many moons ago involving FDF and CM and an unnamed Calvin poster. What can I say: I'm not a marriage therapist! :)

Trust me, CM quotes you often GK   ::)

I'm experiencing a modest growth spurt just contemplating the baleful look CM shoots your way while quoting me!!!  ;)

Sadly, goodknight neglected to properly register ® the phase when first coining it. Just imagine the buckets of money he could recover from CM, due to theft of GK's intellectual property--such as it is. We all know the deep pockets CM has, and the multiple times she must have used it on FDF, so any litigation would have certainly led to a delightful financial recovery. To say nothing of all the money that might have been paid to GK's legal counsel. :'(

Hope's schedule has changed again, we're on V3.0   https://athletics.hope.edu/sports/mens-basketball/schedule

Hope will now play at UW-Whitewater on Wed Nov 16 instead of the added Rockford game.

Glad they were able to do that in place of a "duplicate" and get a quality opponent!

I see (from looking at the newly posted WashU schedule) that Olivet will be playing Pomona-Pitzer Dec 2 @ WahsU.  Pomona-Pitzer (SCIAC) was 22-5 last season, losing to Elmhurst in the second round of the NCAAs. The second night they will play either WashU or Eureka (15-12 in the SLIAC last year).  I would anticipate that second game for the Comets will be with Eureka

Still waiting to learn who Calvin will face in Florida (tournament hosted by Rollins), and for Alma to post any official schedule.

Updated stats on non-con schedules (assuming Olivet vs Eureka):

Team     Known Games   21-22 Record   In 21-22 NCAA      Average Massey      Massey Top 50      Massey Top 100
Adrian     11   0.491   1   161      1 3

Greek Tragedy

I would be interested to know why the Point game vs Hope got cancelled. I really hope it wasn't a case of, "You're not good enough." I mean, originally, the replacement game was playing Rockford twice. Now, they've decided to play at Whitewater. That does beg the question of giving up a home game to play on the road to, first, Rockford and then Whitewater. I know Point hasn't been up to standards the last few years, but still...

It was not that, so put that to rest.

Aren't you making a big assumption here - as in who actually cancelled the game?  We don't know one way or the other, we only know it was on Hope's schedule, and then it wasn't.  Given that UWSP still does not have a schedule posted, that was the only place it was gonna be apparent that the game was cancelled.

I can tell you Hope was excited to have UWSP come to town. The game was certainly not cancelled because the Pointers weren't good enough.

To be honest, I never actually thought the game was cancelled because Point wasn't good enough. Posters were talking about improving their SOS by, 1st playing Rockford, and then rescheduling with Whitewater. I just went with that. LOL.

And yes, it's wrong to assume Hope cancelled. Point could've cancelled too.

I'm just disappointed that I won't be able to see the Hope/Calvin Thanksgiving weekend double header and I'm taking it out on all of you. LOL

Not the first time a chaplain has reproved me, and likely not the last. Mea maxima culpa, Coop!
