The arena itself felt very 'cavernous', even with an announced crowd of 2000 it felt empty.

Careful! You're getting dangerously close to a seeing your karma plummet with statements like this. You may be safe because you sandwiched it in between praising the climbing wall and the pep band, but there are many on here that take great offense to those critiquing their "cavernous" hallowed arena.

I don't pay attention to karma whatsoever.  Too old to be bothered by petty things anymore.

One team with much to gain or lose in the pool C / NCAA tournament world as well as an undefeated league schedule and the other with nothing to lose (but of course bragging rights and the desire to always want to win). Sounds like fun!!

I had prepared what I thought would be my own clever riposte to DK. But after reading sac's comment, I realized mine doesn't quite measure up. +K. Without taking the time to look, I'm guessing that Massey thinks the game is tonight--and that the always clear-thinking Dark Knight is well aware he needs to show up tomorrow.

I have never looked at a comment and wondered if it was valid or legit based on the poster's number of posts or their karma.  None of this makes one comment more valid than another.

Born and raised in the CRC/Grand Rapids with family that strongly supported Calvin.  I hated school and had a very hard time getting in, getting back in, and finally graduating.  I was a poster child for free will vs predestination.

Was that ever true? Debatable. But at any rate now it's mostly senior moments.

Unfortunately, Calvin's most highly touted recruit of last summer won't be able to play in this game.

(Brady Ewing had surgery early in the year and has been out all season. But I expect he'll play next year! Brady was Calvin's only D1 all-state recruit.)

So, funny thing.

I went to the big game last night, but I saw people climbing on the climbing wall. I think there must have been a competition or something. You know, it really is remarkable what young, healthy people can do when they train for years and become very skilled. One-finger pull-ups!? Well, one finger and a thumb, really. And I swear, one guy put his foot on a little nubbin beside his ear and stood up on it.

Anyway, I completely forgot to go in and watch the big game. How did it come out?
