A "new recruit" per the Xverse via Kazoo MBB account (they are posting introductions to newcomers this week):

It appears the MBB staff at Trine is prioritizing length with the 2025 high school senior class.  Of the 9 offers so far, 3 are 6'4, 2 are 6'5, 3 are 6'6 and 1 is 6'7.  Of course offers and commits are vastly different for D3 schools.  You might get 1 out of a handful of offers to actually commit to your school.

"Offers"?  What does Trine—or any D3 school—have to offer to potential players? A spot on the roster?

Yes, that is the parlance in D3 recruiting.

Interesting.

In real life, offers are usually the start of a bargaining process.

Quote from: ziggy on May 21, 2024, 11:26:56 AMCalvin's '24-'25 schedule is now posted as well: https://calvinknights.com/sports/mens-basketball/schedule/2024-25

I'm led to believe the schedule for the Sikma Invitational at IWU is not yet finalized so it remains to be seen which two of Cal Lu, UW-Platteville and Illinois Wesleyan will see opening weekend.

The Knights will once again face a dense conference stretch with at Hope, at Trine and vs. Hope within an 11 day window from late Jan. to Feb. 1.  ::)

IWU has posted their schedule:

https://www.iwusports.com/sports/mens-basketball/schedule/2024-25

Based on this, it appears Calvin plays UW-Platteville the opening night, and then either Cal Lutheran or IWU the second night (based on the first game outcomes)
