Actually he's Little Tuna from Turkey. Will he melt the hearts of Calvin fans?

Only if he comes with dijon mustard and provolone cheese.

Trine MBB has added assistant coach Garrett Duffin to their staff.  He replaces Kyle Lindsay who has moved on to become a HS head coach in Ohio.  Duffin last served as director of player development at Minnesota State University.  He holds a doctorate in physical therapy, and played basketball collegiately at Lakeland University in Sheboygan WI.  Fun fact: Duffin and current Trine assistant coach Isaac Anderson were teammates at Lakeland U.  Welcome to Trine Coach Duffin!

Adrian has published their schedule, so we now have all of them (although Albion's has only been shared via X at this point):

As a league we can do better than 6 road games in the first 8 league games and 5 home games in the last 6.

This schedule template needs to be tossed into a raging inferno.

Couldn't agree more - feels like they had one of those tic-tac-toe playing chickens build the schedule based on where their poop landed.  (with my apologies to the chicken, who would likely do better than this current schedule)

One of Hope's likely top recruits has decided to leave school.  :(

It seems there is also one to remove from the Calvin list. My understanding is Noah Swope was primarily a baseball recruit who initially was going to give being a dual-sport student athlete a try but has decided to focus solely on baseball.

I see the Calvin schedule now has a 1st night opponent for the Heidelberg tourny - UW Oshkosh.  That means Calvin plays them twice in a 20 day span - Nov 15 @ Heidelberg, and Dec 5 in Oshkosh - yuck!

How might that inpact any NPI ranking?  I would assume no different than the fact that you play a conference opponent twice.

Greek Tragedy

That stinks. I wonder if Calvin can request an opponent change. I know the GLI had La Crosse and St. John's playing each other and switched their matchup when they found out they are already scheduled play each other.

I think it is what it is. To guarantee any chance of Calvin and Oshkosh meeting Heidelberg would have to change their tournament format to a classic/opponent swap and lock themselves into playing both Calvin and Oshkosh. Instead, it seems Heidelberg is moving forward with the tournament format and scheduled Manchester for their own first round matchup.

Greek Tragedy

I don't see it being too hard to switch formats and opponents, unless they already have a big tournament champions trophy readily available. As hosts, I suppose you don't want to play a team without their 1st team All-American AND the last place WIAC team. Tough sledding.
