90' - I agree that Glenn's vote might be tough.  I think Alma will be in the top 4 this year.

Haven't heard anything about starters for Hope, although after watching them play rec ball this summer, I could give you about 7 guys who could be starting - Immink, Phillips, Carlson, Voison, Cramer, VanderHeide, Wolfe.   I was also impressed with the Overbeek, Jager, and Woolpert.   I guess we just have to wait and see.

OK, so my source about Hope practices beginning at DeVos were wrong, at least accroding to this article in the Holland Sentinel.  There is also some info about tickets for the opening game:

When will they begin practicing at DeVos?  It is still going to be ready for the first game, right?

TBF - From what I hear and read, they will definitely be playing all of their games there this year.  Hopefully practice can start there by the first of November.  Anything later than that doesn't give them enough time to make the place "feel like home".  Although I'm sure that place will be rockin' on November 19 - and that will go a long way toward making it comfortable.

they practice monday    i herad that there were 40  people going out for the team i think at the dow
i love hope  sports all of them are really great to watch

It looks like Hope has the nicest gym in the league by a long shot.  It will be interesting to see how it compares in noise level to Kresge and Knollcrest.

Devos Fieldhouse looks beautiful.  That first-class center court scoreboard is one thing I have always wished Illinois Wesleyan put in when building the Shirk Center.  The scoreboards at the Shirk Center are brutal....

Olivet has posted their Men's Basketball Roster.  It seems they have some new big kids.  Has anyone seen any of these kids play?

I'm not familiar with any of their newcomers.  If either of the two 6'9" freshman are good, it could make them a pretty good team this year, since they have alot of SR leadership (7 players).

I did notice that Olivet has a freshman on JV named Voisin 6'7".  Since his hometown is the same as Hope's Eric Voisin (6'9" SR Center) - I suspect they are either brothers or cousins.

I would say you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer court in the country (on the D3 level) than Devos.  They're talking about making some major renovations to the venues here at the C.O.W. but I doubt, even with the renovations, that Timken will compare to Devos.  That scoreboard does look sweet BTW.  I'm jealous... ;)

Maybe??? Maybe??? Dang! I love everything about this stadium, the concrete stands, the overhead lighting, the colors ( :D ) and now the scoreboard!? I can totally just picture this stadium full of the loudest, craziest fans I've ever seen (the Hope fans during the MIAA tourney two years ago) and I am totally in awe, without having even stepped in it.

For a small college stadium... you can't get any better than that.  :o
