Olivet's playing a nice schedule, besides the games FDF mentioned they also play Saginaw Valley St and Anderson.  The only weak game they play is Madonna.

Also like the Coach K philosophy of scheduling KVS took this year, taking the Knights to Colorado.  Home state of a couple of his players....nice!

Just noticed a little schedule quirk for Hope.

After Nov. 22 Hope plays no midweek games untill Dec 28

They also play on the 10th of Dec and then don't play again until the 28th of Dec.  Almost 3 full weeks.

Calvin plays December 6 and then not again until December 30. I hope they remember how to put the ball in the hole.

Albion has finally posted their roster:

http://www.albion.edu/sports/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=842&Itemid=703

- 18 guys on varsity - are there still cuts to be made or will some guys get "sent down" to JV?

- 5 freshman - anybody know anything about these guys

- I'm a little surprised to not see Isaiah Thomas (Mike's little brother).  I thought he looked pretty good on the JV last year and would have a shot at varsity

- Also a little surprised that Brian Champine is not playing - he came up form JV late in the year, and I thought he had some promise.

SpartanFever (or some Albion fan out there) - please give us your take on the Britons this year.

That can't be Albion's final roster, for one thing half the guys don't have numbers.

Yancy if I recall is a pretty good player but wasn't the focus at his HS (Okemos).  They have a gaurd who's probably going D1 when he graduates and I believe they had another good forward.

Bunn was a name I heard come up in Hope recruiting, he played for Class D(?)  Lansing Christian.  Should be a pretty good player.

Anybody know when someone (like me and few friends) could get tickets to the Elmhurst/Hope game?  Online, hopefully......I don't want to stand in a long line.

TBF - From the Hope website:

QuoteTickets for DeVos Opener on Sale Friday
A limited number of general admission tickets for the scheduled November 19th basketball opener at the college's new DeVos Fieldhouse will be sold Friday, Nov. 4, beginning at 10 a.m. from the college's DeWitt Center theatre office. Both Hope basketball teams are scheduled to play their home opener in the new $22 million facility. The women's team will host Edgewood, Wisc. at 5:30 p.m. and the men's team will entertain Elmhurst, Ill. at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students. There will be a limit of two tickets sold per purchase. A pre-game sellout is anticipated.

I'll bet the tickets are gone by 10:20, and there will people lined up before 8:00am.

Will there be any scalping going on?? ;)

I know down here, tickets for the Canton McKinley v. Massilon H.S. football game were reportedly going for as much as $80 on Ebay! :o
