Ah, realist before you cast the stone at A-19 on grammar and schools, you may want to recheck the last line of that post A-19 was referring to: "Can anyone out THEIR spell "Baldwin-Wallace?"  A-19's correct.

And I now am officially indoctrinated into the "Hall of Superlame Grammar Posts."

And I didn't even take Professor VandenBosch for English 101 which would show everyone how far a command of written English can take you. Thanks for your support realist but I thought the correctness of my usage was obvious. Not only do I know proper usage butt eye can really spell well two.

Boy, it's a good thing I was at "the game that shall never be mentioned" or else I'm sure I couldn't even figure out what the heck realist's post was talking about.

Wait a minute, having been at that game is never a good thing...

And by the way, anybody who knows me knows I love to stir the pot...which I really haven't even started doing this year.

I presumed the decline in pot-stirring was directly correlated to John Carroll having a sub-par year.

And thanks DK and NWHF.

John Rusnak

Well, it's hard to stir the pot on JC when they are so down...but especially given the reasons for their struggles, I don't think it's appropriate.

It's also hard to stir the pot right now because I belive this region is very solid and is getting the recognition it deserves.  Sure, I think some teams could be ranked a little higher or lower in the top 25, but overall the MIAA and the great lakes is getting very solid PR nationally.

Of course, until we see where everybody is seeded it's all meaningless.

I know they lost Mimes, right?  What other pieces of the story am I missing?  My goal wasn't to be insensitive, which it sounds like from your post I pulled off masterfully.  My apologies.

With a win tonight Coach Turner will post win number 497 for his career. Not bad for a guy who started out as the golf coach.

I would love to see Coach Turner end the season with at least 500 wins.

Indian Trails Bus Service released the passenger list on their website for a bus that is leaving from Albion, MI and arriving in some town on the west side of the state. Knight fans worst "knightmare" came true as one Brett Quaile is on the passenger list.

For all of those interested in Official Conspiracy Theories, there is a good article out about longtime Big 10 official Dick Honig.

KresgeKrazy and I were out in LA last night with a group of people and we ran into this guy who said he played for the Green Bay Packers. He said his name was Max McGee. He bought us a few choice beverages as he had more than a few himself. He was telling us how he was going to be sitting the bench today in some game called the Super Bowl. KresgeKrazy and I turned the game on today and there he was catching a pass for a TD. We had trouble believing this guy could even stand up let alone catch 7 passes for 2 TDs.

Yeah, conspiracy theory is right. I assume you're referring to the officiating article written from a Penn St. perspective. Any griping which PSU fans do about the refs should be taken with about a case of salt; I think they're convinced the Big 10 has been against them since they joined and have intentionally had the refs favor their opponent in every game since then.

If I hadn't already given you karma today for the "hug a ref day" line, I'd give you karma for this one.  You're on a roll!  ;D

Consider yourself applauded.   ;)  Your orange and blue efforts won me over.  It must be a good day, since my karma is only at 0.   ;D  (Who's idea was this karma stuff, anyway?  Have you seen the CCIW chat board?  They must give karma for breathing!)   ::)

I didn't take your karma to give to ABF, NW Hope Fan. I hope your self esteem is still intact, despite last wednesday's heartbreaking result.  ;D

Thank God I only had to listen to it over the internet! I've been to way to many Hope/Calvin games (16 years worth) where I thought I would have a coronary (win or lose). Disappointing loss  :'( for us Orange and Blue faithful, but boy do you love this rivalry or what?
