...I agree it gets old, and officiating is out of the control of fans or coaches or players and rest singlely in the hands of the MIAA conference officials.

Ding, ding, ding!  We have a winner!!  It's a control issue.  That's why fans are more rabid about it than even the players or coaches.  Talk to most players or coaches after a game, and you'll find that their reaction to the refs is milder than the average fan.  But then, they at least had the control of playing or coaching to affect the outcome.  We fans really have no control (well, very, very little) over the outcome.  The natural reaction?  Find a way to show that your team lost for legitimate reasons.  Easiest target?  The refs, who show their human-ness every night.  Been there, done that, guilty as charged.

Now, off to watch some terrific basketball!   ;D

I also thought about making shirts that say

GOT INTEGRITY?

I think I'll bust those out tomorrow night just for Sac and Shareef2323

That way they can sit by each other

Today's Sentinel summed up the semi's the best.....

There's a surprising host trying to duplicate another memorable postseason run.

A preseason favorite is desperate to live up to its potential.

A longtime coach can reach a career milestone with a title.

And, finally, there's an overwhelming underdog who s eager to prove it's not a runt.

Hope vs Albion ......neutral floor ......Hope by 1?

Safe traveling......and I'm not talking about Crawford. ;D ;)

For immediate release:

Plans for the Calvin fieldhouse renovation are well underway. In addition to the plans for a wellness center, health and fitness center, four additional basketball courts, an indoor track, climbing wall, atria, pool renovations, and a renovation of the main gymnasium, another all-important component of the project has been revealed: the condiment selection.

I got them made for $10  I suppose if people really want them I can go get more made. They are pretty sweet. ;D

be sure to make the royalty checks out to NW Hope Fan

Thanks Sue... I'll be setting up a Paypal account for those checks. And if someone would like to send me a shirt (make sure it is in ORANGE and BLUE), I'll be sure to wear it to all future Hope/Calvin satellite games.

The games can't come quick enough!  All of this talk of poor officiating makes me fear for the worst tonight.

Was anyone at the Tri-State/Hope game last week.  I believe that Bosma was there with some potential recruits.

Come on now, you guys.  You know that, most likely, barring any "strange happenings", it's going to come down to Hope/Calvin tomorrow for the tourney championship and the AQ to the "party". ;)  I would venture to say that the runner-up will probably get an at-large bid, similar to last year.

Anyone know why no live stats? I really have enjoyed those this season.
