Also, the best move of the Calvin/Hope game was the Cramer layin 1 on 3 in the first half, somehow he avoided a charge and laid it over the front rim in traffic, phenomenal move!  Glad he is back next year....

That was also a memorable move like Cramer always gives us, but I have to think Immink out-did Cramer by a nose on Saturday. That hang-in-the-air spin reverse was just nuts, plus it came at a point where it was really really needed by the stalling offense. Occasionally you can see Immink get the idea that he is going to find a shot no matter what and that play looked like he had decided he was going to find a shot some how some way.

Speaking of shots where Immink just decided he was going to make a play, no one brought up that 27 foot laser of a 3-pointer he tossed in before half. I realized when that went in that he had hit it with 36+ seconds left in the half and had thus given Hope the extra last possession with the quick score, but that only worked because he dropped the shot. It sure wasn't a high percentage shot from there, but maybe he just had a feeling that he could save a possession and nail that really impressive 3.

Still, there may not be anyone without a shoe contract who could beat Cramer for number of eye-poppers per game. The circus layup seems like it is becoming his basic inside move. I happened to be watching Hope's warmups prior to the Calvin game and saw him go 1 on 2 in a drill, reach out while his head was under the rim and float a shot over the rim without using the board which hung on the edge and just barely spun the rest of the way down. I looked around to see if anyone else was paying attention and heard my dad say "just a little english on that one, huh?" Even in warmups he can impress.

I'm trying to throw the world out of balance and have given anyone who posted in the last 2 days karma.

It's like I'm hitting the "easy button"

Not sure what will happen...
Why didn't you say so.  My karma's been going *down* in recent weeks for posting some of the nicest comments I've ever made!   ;D

Andersdy, I don't know how you came across this, but this is absolutely hilarious.  This should go right into Albion's recruiting packet.  My favorite line is the U of C t-shirt quoted: "The squirrels are cuter than the girls."  No offense to the Corn and Blue but I think U of M may have been ranked a little on high side.

Albion can't hold a candle to Hope's cuteness.  ;D

Cuteness, I assume we are talking women here.  St. Olaf in Minnesota takes the cake.  Why women would want to go there is beyond me, but it doesn't seem like there was an ugly woman anywhere on campus.

I think most of the women at Olivet got beat with the ugly stick.

That's the shot I mentioned to my wife Calvin had to defend, just as he took it.

Maybe, but I'm willing to trade looks for a certain....morally casual attitude.

And JR three words for you: Miami of Ohio.  Ha-cha-cha-cha.

I can't believe I was smited for quoting one of the best movie lines in the history of cinema.  It was the perfect comeback on Hope v. Albion to sac.

And I censored myself too.  I was going to write in something like: "I prefer women who aren't saving themselves and trying to 'save' me at the same time."  But I refrained.  Well, I guess I should say, I had refrained.

Is humor dead....It's a piggish comment, I get it, but it was said in jest.

No offense to the Corn and Blue but I think U of M may have been ranked a little on high side.

It says they don't really know how that random assortment of D1-D3 schools was chosen, but if you read into the reader comments, you'll notice the pretty well accepted opinion that UM dodged a bullet simply based on which schools were selected. The expectation was that any SEC schools could have taken them to the woodshed if southern schools had been included.

As to where that link came from, that blog was referenced by my standard UM football blog http://mgoblog.blogspot.com/ which is pretty good for any maize and bluers who'd want to know.

A useless piece of trivia.  I could be wrong, but this morning on WoodTV8 news, I believe our beloved  ;D referee, Todd Geerlings, was briefly in the news for a reason other than how much we dislike his officiating.  He was the spokesman for Mona Shores schools regarding a recent sexual abuse issue.

I have no opinion about his officiating, but he represented the school district well on the few seconds he was on camera

I saw that piece and that name struck me as familiar and I had no clue why. Mystery solved. I'm surprised I didn't at least recognize him, but that is harder when he's not in the environment where I'd normally see him.

I'm telling you, go the athletic facility center on campus (I can't remember the name) and you will be floored.  I've never seen so many hot college girls in one place in my life...other than maybe on those videos by Snoop.  But seriously, it's unreal.
